Progression or Regression? Contestants are opting for an easier way?

I wanted to make this post as soon as the IV of VJ Andy talking about his elimination got uploaded.

But I don't know the reasons India-Forums removed the video within few hours.

In that Interview,

When Andy was asked about elimination and his performance.

Andy said, His performance on the first episode wasn't that great since they want to make it simple and then show a little progress to that.

His statement indirectly said that the performance was kept to a low level so that they could show progress to that.

He also said his choreographer was inexperienced.

-*-

I don't know the reasons why he is eliminated. I really don't care about it.

We all know Punit is a fabulous choreographer n Mouni is amazing dancer but what is happening when it comes to their performance?

Lahu munh lag gaya was one pleasant performance and I do agree but did it meet upto the expectations viewers had from them?

And then..

Neither Punit is an average choreographer nor Mouni is a non-dancer who is finding it difficult to dance.

Is Punit n Mouni also starting from below their level so that they can show progress?

Andy performed below his level so that his progression chart will eventually go up.

It will surely go up considering their first performance BUT..

What is the use of Contestants doing the dances below their level?

I can see regression before their progress starts.

They are purposefully giving not-their-best so that they can show how much they improved over the days?

Should I even say Improved?

They are just giving a false impression..maybe not Mouni and Punit but thats what Andy tried.

Is this the progress or growth all viewers are interested in?

I for one genuinely felt they will give their best everytime and go on to become better n better by every performance but this was for me.

Having said Enough,

I am really happy for Purab n Mohena apart from Shakti n Tushar. They are giving their Best šŸ‘šŸ¼

I think Colors is deliberately trying to show some 'progress' to people watching the show on TV/ reguar aunties.

its all a sham at the end anyways so lets just enjoy the show while we can and yes there will be more regression before progression. They have to build the 'we are working so hard/ giving our best' facet to the audience.

omg..never thought of it this way..but yes...you are correct..absoultely agree..
if tehy are deliberately doing so, then its not in the spirit of the competition..

I am almost becoming a strong supporter of Purab cos I know that he is non dancer..but has been doing a wonderful job..

So according to this angle that contestants are taking, those who are giving their best would be shakthi n purab and even sreeshanth too..even though I dont like SreeShanth...

It takes the shine off the competition when people do things like this...

Punit's strategy.
He is bringing Mouni down just to give them one wow moment. Because people always remember one wow moment of average performers than consistently good performances.
I only feel bad for Mouni. She is so good and deserves much more than this. Purab and Mohina are fabulous. I love how hard they have worked and truly done better.

I feel this year there is more competition among the choreographers then the contestants themselvesšŸ˜• It feels like the choreographers are the ones that are more important then the actual contestants!!!!! JDJ should just bring in a bunch of new choreographers and let these old ones go!!!! No offence to anyone

the reason is this is not a real competition but a scripted show ...
