Well, I am not creating a big deal. I just wanted to know why a sudden change in Richa, that's all. 😆 I agree, singing should be given more importance than X-factor and personality, but they are a plus.

Also we don't know what question was asked by sony to the girls. This looks odd because they were asked about the performance and instead they went to personalities. But consider this--

Contestant X holds up a board with three names.

Channel Rep (CR): So are you friendly with Y whose name you have written.

X : Well, I wrote this based on the performance yesterday....

CR : Yes, but do you like Y?

X : Well she is okay.

CR : Why don't you like her verymuch?

X : Well....

CR (soothing voice): See don't be afraid of anything. Say clearly what you have in mind. It'll make you feel better to get things out in the open air.

X : Well, Y always tries to show that she's very innocent and....

CR : But some people say she is very young and innocent.

X : Well, she is in 12th standard, she can't be that innocent.

CR : But what does she do? Does she behave badly with you? Is she really as innocent as she seems?

X : Well, I think she acts to be innocent more than anything.

Then you just show those two highlighted sentences. 🤢

havent we gone through this in just about every talent hunt show which involves public voting? Now I just dont care about whom public votes. I just listen to good singers the few episodes that they get to stay in the show. Ultimately its all mediocre singers that remain because all the good singers get voted out because almost every good singer is strangely found to be not so good person. Which I am sure is ofcourse not true. Why did Qazi win and Arpita lose in FG then? because people decided she is very confident and arroagnt without knowing her and so decided that she should not win even though she was probably the best singer in the lot. voiting on singing basis or someone's good looks or sympathy or anything else is ofcourse individual's prerogative. But seeing this trend of good singers always being branded as arrogant,cunning,calculative just amazes me no end.
I wish the days of only judges choosing the winners would come abck.. like sa re ga ma initially and meri awaaaz suno... thankfully for those shows sunidhi and shreya won.. else I can easily picture the internet wars.. which would probably go as... what does sunidhi think of herself. she thinks only she is versatile.. like javed akhtar said.. i feel sometimes i am seeing some contestant sing and others are seeing someone else sing..
The facial expressions and reactions which I feel are very human and instintive more than deeply thought out with some motives like contestants facial expressions when judges comment etc which are split second reactions people seem to think there was some malicious intentions behind them..
Shocking I say.. Its a sinigng show.. Plase enjoy it.. cant we just talk about who "sings" well and didnt "sing' very well?
