yes i.loved zain he defended both. i loved they way it was executed. but there is one scene when usman say even if elders r wrong they should say sorry... the next scene was sazia interrupting.. y not to say sorry. after this zain looks at aaliya.. where she in a negative way says that mami should not say sorry... then zain informs that mum will not say.. but i will say,,

as of now i like how they understand each other and how they want even elders should not bow down.

Yess i noticed that too and honestly speaking I will give credit where its due... just look at the genuine thought behind it... Aliyah told Zain to refuse her mom from apologizing and like you said she didnt want to be the GREATER one in this case... nor make Mami feel inferior.
She could have become mahaan infront of everyone by refusing herself... you know I truly feel for Aliyah because her one small act gets her so much flack but these small moments go unnoticed.

and another scene that I liked was Aliyah wiling to never talk to Zubbu because for her Zain is important and no one else.. i think to the extent these two are willing to go for each other is admirable.

I hope we do get an extension, but I am not going to count on it because they have already advertised friday as Qawalli night.

I loved that scene too, she is willing to give up a dear relative and friend just to hold onto her love. The pain in her voice was evident but the pain of losing her love is much more heartbreaking for her which is why I loved the way Zain stood up for her. There was this heartwarming look in her eyes, she was at peace knowing she still had her love and the trust was intact.
