Disinterest or discomfort does not matter. Because, we all know previously PD said she is not comfortable playing a mother but she did a very good job when she sang lullaby over the phone to the children or when she saw them pre-leap before leaving WM and when she holded the hands of the children. But look at post-leap, DDG character is so not established. Look at how they scripted the scene where Bani meets the children after 5 years. The script was so bad and hence it is not having any impact.

You are right. Post-leap characterization of DDG has been pathetic. Probably I should've been so crtical about her performance. Given the right script, she has been brilliant. The creatives had a solid story, fine actors but they royally messed up. Absolutely no direction to the story. (pun was intended, btw 😊)

Agreed the script is haywire and once again they have lost the opportunity for a solid storyline and that fine actors are being wasted.

The creatives need to stop throwing up so many balls in the air. They do that everytime and then try to unsuccessfully juggle them all. Without establishing DDG's character and giving it a solid foundation they have now brought in the DDG/AD romance angle which according to me was totally unnecessary. I would have liked for that relationship to have been kept clean and limited to the mentor/mentoree one. Now they have made this situation murky too. Hoping against hope that they have an exit strategy already planned out.

That is my sentiments as well. Love angle is totally not necessary here. He is there for revenge and he is actually looking for revenge for 20 long years and dropping it and turning him into a another lost-in-love puppy is something I can't digest. And what is the point of showing some cruel snatching of kids from Bani and MA scenes when all she is going to do as Durga is to peel peas. The script is totally messed up.

Chemistry how much is that important....I think it is very important in any log runing dialy soap.for any soap to be successful Story,Actors and Chemistry between tehm are three most important ingredients for them to hit with audience.
Chemistry is something Either U hav it from word GO or u dont hav. Its not something betwen leads ya opposite sex its about two characters gell with each other Eg: All 3 sisters even today any of old scenes will bring a smile, JW with tony, Adi with daadi and old jiggs ,Jiggs(old) and Daadi,Ranveer and Rano here again age is not a factor neither looks

Look at KS when it started the story was good but its was still under wraps and tad bit confusing ,they ahd good actors but still it couldnot pull many audience,the script was something else it was going on lines of TMTS novel according to which NS and PD were the main lead but suddenly oneday everything changed,SS and NB saw zing in RK and PD scenes and they cahnged the script overnight and JB beacame the lead and from then KS Success is History.
Many of us had admitted that they started watching KS only after JB maraige and many with the Question why will JW marry Pia and why not bani??
Its not even about third angle ppl in forum worry as we had many third angles but the reason certain char gor repulsed was the way the character has been shaped up for eg: Rakshanda char as RC she is darling of many and many liked her when she was introduced inspite of fact she was a huge threat to JB but still viwers loved it,next pushkar he was also kinda threat to JB but still viwers never went against his char as i think even now if instaed of AD it was pooch who helped her and was shown as third angle many would'nt hav that problem. But somewhere TS and AD char went wrong,in hurry to start the triangle creatives forgot the basic essence of the charcater that TS was JW friend and AD is here to revenge.
To END chemistry does hav its importance and not some lovey dovey mushy scenes dont make a serial click as if its is so many B-grade movies would hav been a huge hit.
Its all about how do people connect with the characters and post leap the char of JW and bani hav been a huge disaster and there has been no scope given to these charcters maybe this butchering was needed for estb AD and pia as i said earlier he equation of KS is JB are one side and AD adn Pia are on other side of see-saw and right now JB are in pitches.

When it was said RR has amzing chem with his co-stars who act as his kids and wife role it was never intended to say that PD is bad actress ,PD had amazing chemistry with NS and with sidhart aka ranveer the aarthi wala scene,she is one serial old so her co-stars list is limited ,next PD has rocking chemistry with Rakshanda Khan aka RC and even Rano.

Moving to PD's failure as DDG and revnege my only Question was DDG till this day(1.5 months since leap) was she shown doing anything concrete regarding her revenge nope,even her makeover was a disaster and the dialogues she gets let me not go over there,so i am sure its not PD fault but those at creative desk hav failed big time to create DDG as PD at 18 is an excellent actress who had some powerful scenes in KS eg: MA,the way she greedly gathers her kids after birth,braek down after ONS and of all the way she shivers when pia comes to meet her after ONS is out and i love her comic timing too she is good even in that.

Thanks Archie for clarifying. These were just some thoughts and questions bothering me so had to put them out there.

Chemistry is also an important factor in a relationship and more so in movies/serials. The chemistry between JW and Bani is undeniable; this is one of the reasons that I started following the KS serial in spite of not being a regular Hindi serial viewer. The current gap between JW and Bani is the result of a of what Bani had to undergo. The chemistry is going to be as strong as before once the issues get resolve misunderstanding which is easy to interpret in the background . If they had such good chemistry earlier, it is not fair to break up the pair just because the silly storyline has introduced tension in their relationship. The chemistry will continue when some day sense will dawn on the serial's creative team and JW/Bani will get together again.

The question of hyping up the so-called chemistry between AD and Bani is a dangerous trend. Can just chemistry be a reason for us to abandon our spouse and children to go after someone who suddenly seems very attractive? Should we forget the good times we enjoyed through the excellent chemistry between JW/Bani just because JW has put on some extra weight now? Don't most of us lose our shape and physique after sometime– does it mean the chemistry with our partner is gone? I think this is a nave and loose way of interpreting chemistry.

If Bani should choose AD just because he has maintained his physique better than JW, then she would have to look out for a new 'chemical' when AD starts showing his age soon. Anyway, there really seems to be no real chemistry between the understating Bani and the overstating AD. They are together just as a matter of convenience in a going-nowhere plot and have no reason to pair up. I don't want her to marry Ad just for taking revenge from Jai n regret later. Anyway I h've stopped watching KS bcz of the so called chemistry between AD/DDG ? sorry, I haven't seen any of RR's serials.....Honestly, I like him but not with JW's Bani. 😊
