Hi! This is my first OS ever. It's inane and most importantly lacks a plot. This is my first time so don't be too harsh on me😛.

After the truth of Raman and Ishita's relationship was given away loud and clear during the Parmeet fiasco, Mrs. Bhalla never mentioned her wish for a waaris'. She was coming to terms with the fact that she can't expect anything from a marriage of convenience. Mr. Bhalla kept making efforts in his own way to bring the two together. He very well understood that his son and daughter-in-law could sustain the relationship for Ruhi but after some time it would become a burden for both of them and before their relationship reaches a dead end they need to realise their love for each other. Romi, however, didn't shy away from teasing the duo to spice things up until his own life lost its spice. Simi, who was formerly known for her expertise in nighties, would now rather change five frocks a day of her little girl than give Ishu tips to seduce her husband.
The Iyers, however, didn't have an inkling of the truth. Mihir too was oblivious to this revelation. Although he knew Raman didn't love Ishita at the time of the marriage but hearing the tamil speech from his super khadoos Raman bhai bowled him over.
Mihir was an excellent cook and Ishita had heard it from Raman the day Trisha made coffee for everyone and Raman revealed Mihir's culinary skills. Now Ishita one day was teasing Mihir and complaining to him how he never invited her over for lunch or dinner.
"Akhir bhabhi hoon tumhari, this is very wrong Mihir that everybody, Mihika, Raman, Ruhi, has tasted your food and not me. This is not done," she feigned anger.
"Accha babhi, to faisla ho gaya...kal aap aur Raman bhai mere ghar aa rahe hain and we'll dine together."
"That'll be fun" Mihika butted in, "Actually why just you two, let's make it a couples night. Let's call Vandu akka and Bala jiju too."
So it was decided that they'll meet on Saturday at Mihir's. Mihir prepared an exotic gourmet dinner for all and Mihika was there since morning in case Mihir needed a helping hand. She ended up making a mess of the place forcing Mihir, with all her might and in spite of his good mood, to blast her. She got so angry after Mihir's outburst that she was ready to leave the place but Mihir who is a sweetheart managed to cajole her and then he cleaned the place quietly without any qualms, careful not to vex Mihika again. Later they kissed and made up.
While they were in the middle of this kissing and cuddling Raman and Ishita barged in. The first thing Raman wanted to do was shout at Mihir for leaving the door open. Raman still thought Mihir was a little kid and given his docile nature anybody could rob him. There was an awkward silence between them as Raman and Ishita cast sidelong glances at each other.
Seeing their elders walk in and staring at each other, Mihir and Mihika collected themselves and stood as far from each other as possible. Ishita and Raman were awkward around them. To break the silence, Raman said to Mihir, "Abey tujhe paseena kyun aa raha hai, marunga thodi na tujhe. But guys darwaaza to band kar liya karo."
"Jiju ye aap keh rahe ho," Mihika jumped in. "Aap to bathroom me bhi darwaza khol ke shuru ho jaate ho," and started giggling like a school girl, "Don't look at me like that haan, I didn't see anything, it was Periyamma. By the way what were you guys doing haan that made my periyamma blush?"
Ishita was the first one to realise what Mihika was talking about and she blushed at the thought of that night. What had gotten into her that made her think Raman was falling for her, paithiyam. It took time for Raman to realise what Mihika was talking about.
That day when Ishita walked into the washroom he had this strong urge to tease her and he was consciously closing the distance between them to see her reaction. He stopped at the right time because he didn't want Ishita to think he was eyeing her, because he wasn't. He would have rather flushed his head than let Ishita get such a silly notion into her head.
The thought that how others could have interpreted their situation made them blush and then there was a slight pang because what these people were thinking was not even close to the truth. They didn't mull over this feeling but they felt a tinge of sadness every time people misconstrued them as a couple in love.
The dinner was full of sumptuous dishes and Mihika was blessed out thinking that she wouldn't be cooking after marriage as Mihir would cook for her. Ishita and Vandu asked for the recipes for a dish or two. Later the men sat in the living room watching cricket and Mihika took Ishita and Vandu to her future bedroom.
"Wah Miku, tera room to to bada spic and span hai yaar," said Vandu admiring the room.
"Haan par akka Mihika aakar toofan macha degi is kamre me," said Ishita.
"Haan raat ko toofan machana and then subah saaf karna," laughed Vandu.
"Akka! aap na bohot bure ho," Mihika was blushing
"Arey tu blush kyun kar rahi hai. I'm sure you'll have the upper hand in your marriage, tabhi to raat ko toofaan machega Miku," Ishita couldn't stop laughing.
Then Vandu continued, "Waise bhi Mihir ko dekh ke lagta nahin hai ki wo kuch initiative lega."
"Akka stop it haan, this is not fair. Mihir doesn't look that active by his looks but let me tell you one thing, he is so into me. And he's an unbelievable kisser. I'm dead sure he's better than Bala jiju and Raman jiju."
Mihika had now grown aggressive in trying to defend Mihir. She didn't realize she was so loud that the men in the other room could hear everything. They had now lost all interest in cricket. Their wives/girlfriends would never tell them how good they perform on their face, so it was fun to eavesdrop. Unlike the ladies, they kept their excitement to themselves and pretended to watch the match while the only thing under their radar was the voices from the other room. Mihir got a little nervous in Raman's company and he wished Mihika would shut up. The praises about his kissing prowess seemed so fulsome in Raman's presence, I mean he idolises this man, Mihika kuch to izzat rakh le meri yaar chup ho jaa meri maa, he muttered under his breath. And Raman was shaking his head. His expressions said, Accha beta!! as he listened to Mihir's antics.
When the allegation was on Bala, Vandu couldn't control herself and started praising her man. "Bala, oh god...you have no idea how good he is. And even after 10 yrs of marriage it still seems like we're doing it for the first time." Bala got all smug hearing this.
"That's true, Bala jiju is the most romantic husband, hands down," said Ishita.
Raman fumed at that. What is wrong with this woman!!!Bewakoof!!
"Stop talking about my husband okay Ishu. Agar tumhe kuch bolna hai to apne Raman ke baare me bolo. By the way tumhe aaj apne husband ko defend nahi karma hai. Us din to bada keh rahi thi mere Raman ke bare me kuch mat kaho. Now you have to counter Mihika's claims. Waise Raman dekhne me to hot hi lagta hai, haina Ishu."
She blushed at that. "What Akka..."
Raman decided he had to listen to what Ishita was saying more clearly, so he walked towards the bedroom on the pretext of using the washroom. He was now standing at the door.
"Come on Ishu tell na. How is Raman?" Vandu nudged her.
After the initial round of blushes, Ishita met Raman's eyes and then this time her heart almost writhed in pain thinking about the loveless marriage she had signed up for. She would never have any stories to tell her sisters she thought while gazing into Raman's eyes trying to gauge what he might be thinking of this awkward position they are in.
"Ishita chalen? Ruhi must be waiting," he asked.
