I know today's episode was a delight, considering what the precap looked like. So I don't want to take away from the happy posts on this forum for today's episode. But I also want to mouth off my frustrations with Zubbu Dubbu who is slowly getting on my nerves with his not so cousin like act.

First of, I am happy that this show has a certain edge in which the lead couple does not have silly MU's that happen in every other show. I really really like how Zain's character has shaped up since the beginning. He may have been an immature boy who is shown to grow into a mature man post marriage, but one thing they have kept intact is that he does not have the shallow mentality of mistrusting Aliya's character every now and then like other husbands in shows do. I love that about him. Whether it is supporting Aliya and saving her from Suraiya's wrath in the beginning of their marriage or being by her side in little things (even before the love track started), he has shown what a real relationship is like. I loved that he trusted her on Barkat and decided to investigate further. Not blindly trusting wife over sister, but not accusing wife blindly in favor of sister either. Kudos to CV's for keeping that consistency in his character.

Now, as for Aliya, she is shown to be super mature and very sensible from the beginning, but lately, I fail to understand her actions. This is not to bash her character, but just understanding why Cv's are robbing her of her initial sensibilities. Before their confession, it was so damn evident why Zain got angry - reason being Zubbu Dubbu. Any wife would gauge it and take a step back if it was annoying the husband. Yes, women in the 21st century like to think that they can do whatever in the name of being educated and modern, but some things really don't fly in any century. I personally don't see anything wrong with Aliya and Zubair's relationship, but I also feel if a husband does not like too much chipka chipki, then learn to tone down if you love him. Same goes for husband vice versa. If wife doesn't like too much intimacy with a female, then tone it down for her. It's not too much to ask each other. Doesn't mean you have to stop talking to a friend or cousin, but learn to keep a distance that is comfortable for your respective other. But, Aliya is failing to understand that bit. I'd like to see her reaction if a female cousin pops up and sticks to Zain calling him ZU ZU or something and that kind of closeness with him that Aloo and Zubbu keep doing.

Decorating Zain's office should be discussed with Rizwan or Fahad. They know his likes and choices best. Who is Zubbu to help in this case? And why not tell Zain, she is going to talk to Zubbu and Aayat about some family matter, instead of saying Aayat and then him getting to know Zubbu is also there, something he anyway hasn't shown much comfortability with? And this Zubbu is giving me the creeps by how he behaves with his married cousin. giving her flying kisses when she is dancing, calling her aloo aloo in front of her in laws, mouthing off inappropriate dialogues ( even if not in that context). Like, does he not know his limits? I have cousins, and very close ones, but none of my male cousins behave like this. They behave like brothers, not male friends with eyes for you. That is exactly how Zubbu is behaving, like he has the hots for Aliya. And Aliya is also encouraging this nonsense by not keeping in mind her married status or Zain's uncomfortability with their too close for comfort kind of relationship. I like that she keeps Zain as her most important person after the confession, but it would be nice to see her act a little more mature when it comes to Zubbu. there is no brotherly feeling with him, and that's what makes it awkward for Zain or even Suraiya. I don't blame her for seeing their relationship in a bad light. And, let me say this, no mother in law would.

If a MU arises this time, Aliya will be squarely to blame for. And if Zain supports her well and fine, that would be fitting for a husband, but I'd like to see him tell Aliya how Zubbu and Aloo looks to the world, which she seems so oblivious to as of now, even after he spelled it out for her at that party.
