Surveen and Hate opinions on her

Since her Hate Story 2 trailer , her FB page and twitter feed is filled with all kind of hatd opinions.
Most of them from punjab , abuses,name calling and all form of verbal degradation.
Sudden many of her punjabi fans think she have brought shame.
In Hollywood and korean-japan cinema many actress have gone nude for films,but they dont go so hate .
Is it only south asian problem?

It depends on which actress though because each appeal to different groups and fan bases. Some fan bases more conservative then others.

LOL.. well, Punjabi's are very dramatic. The backlash is stupid. A lot of these people are hypocritical anyways. They'll abuse her on FB and then will go watch the film, first day first show. *rolls eyes*

I watched one Punjabi film of Surveen, she's in the same category as Sonam in my books and that is the 'weird' category. Something about her that I just don't like. Not a fan of Neeru Bajwa either.

If before her whole image was conservative and piious and getting a lot of fans by promoting that image then yeah they will get crazy if she's goes nude. It will be a shock

Do you think if Sherlyn Chopra or Malika Sherawat went nude for a film their fans will be shocked. Not really.

Why is this shocking? South Asian's are definitely more conservative, its natural for this kind of reaction.

And Sunny Leone is Punjabi. 🤪

I don't know this actress, but as for getting hate for changing from a pious image to racy being a South Asian thing only, no. It has happened before to Jessica Simpson and Miley Cyrus who both (or had their parents who were their managers) play the virgin card when they were young to gain an audience. The backlash when they grew up and rebelled against it has been huge and is still going on.

I think calling Punjabi people "dramatic" is a stretch. Its funny to see members come in here and call certain racial groups or people "dramatic" but you are probably the same people who has to hide these trailers/movies from your family. I think that's hypocritical.

My 'dramatic' comment is strictly based off of my experience.. It may not be true for the general Punjabi population.

I don't have to hide anything from my family. LOL My parents can make their own choices on what to watch on TV.
