I dont think the point is about the misunderstanding being cleared. The point is why would Zain misunderstand her character even to begin with.

I am assuming this is just to build up to the scene of Aliyah being shot? They will over dramatize this scene for a final closure. I would prefer if they dont show Zain doubting at all. It is one thing to feel odd about the situation and one thing to question her love.

I would stick to feeling awkward.
