Will Akki and Ajay suffer due to influx of young actors?

A lot of young actors are coming in and some of them are gonna stay for sure. After Ranbir, Ranveer, the likes of Arjun, Sushant, Varun, Sid, ARK etc have come through and are building fans slowly but surely. People have more options now and these guys are surely gonna give more competition than Fardeen, Tushar, Abhishek etc. In 2000s only HR and Ranbir established themselves, but I can see 4-5 actors making a place for themselves in this decade. Ranveer already did and Arjun is giving hits now. Sushant is very smart with his choices as well.

We know Khans won't be affected, but with so many options, will Akki & Ajay movies fail to create necessary hype? Both are 45-46 and even Big B stopped getting lead roles after a while. Khans might continue to star in their 50s, but I am not sure about these two.

well, they certainly don't really look their age, i think they are beyond the stage of being affected by the youngsters cause they have already proven themselves so audiences will be open to watch their films. I mean Singh is bling looks like a good hit. I think people like shahid, farhan akhtar, saif ali khan are more likely to be affected.

All the 40+ guys will have a problem now. The Khans managed for this long as producers didnt have viable options among the below 35 lot. Thats why HR also has pulled up his socks. We suddenly see an influx of articles on him(this apart from repairing his image due to the divorce) and he's also signing more films than he used to.

I believe Akki is a better actor than salman and ajay..

They r big fish comparing to all these small fishes. They have their own space, own acting standard and they always do average business baring few high phases . Infact both of them survive till today is purely bcoz of their versatile acting and they always reinvent themselves. They will continue to do so in future also. Infact many new faces will fizzle out if they do same type of role repeatedly as branding promotion etc help to an extent only .

We will soon see many of the 40+ folks moving on to character roles/ supporting roles.
