Collector's office or school gates - nowhere a trace of security. Government offices have round the clock security and if the DC was in office late at night, his staff, at least his personal staff and few senior officers must be present in office (a DC's office is not a small office with just 5-6 staff members as shown in serial. The office actually contains a number of sections). TV people will show ridiculous situations - this is not the first time - during Gahna's delivery, only one trained nurse and Ganga were there - hospitals are never left like this. Even if there is emergency somewhere, a small medical party is sent and most of the staff remains in hospital.

I visited Tehsildar's office couple of times and it is much bigger and with more staff and so many partitions than this Collector's office.

Agree with all SPuja but for @bold.
It is such a shocking revelation for him, a man like him will definitely break down like that.

I think narendra will give a dying statement exonerating shiv and blaming rasika and brijesh in the presence of witnesses.

Pooja, narendra crying is quite natural and I have seen strong men break down when they face the unexpected. and narendra is somewhat weak and also impulsive besides being emotional.

I hope Narendra is saved by Shivraj Shekhar's quick actions and then gives a statement.
But what would be achieved by this track then ?
Will Shivraj Shekhar seek a transfer to a different place? A smaller city, I do wish he just takes his wife and kid along and leaves the rest in Udaipur.

I dont think he will leave Udaipur. Even if he leaves, his family will follow him like parasites.

Leaving Udaipur is not a solution in this track, and why a smaller city? It is not that such things do not happen in smaller cities.

Smaller city, I thought could be a good reason for not taking entire family along 😊.
I feel my Anandi gets lost in this crowd of Shekhars.
In such cases, transfer is imminent for a collector as part of image refurbishing exercise.

If ever BV creatives show that Shiv chooses a smaller city- it will be to show that they are better than big cities (best are villages). Practically, it is difficult because smaller cities may not have posts in grade of senior officer (with passage of time, Shiv's seniority is increasing). Anandi is not lost because of Shakher family. She will always be like this - because creatives do not want to show nuclear family, working woman etc. because in their serial, only negative women think like this.

It is not just about how Anandi or Ganga are shown, whatever they are doing is for the happiness of their respective families.
What about the male characters in BV?
Aren't they shown as well educated, good looking, worldly wise on the exterior, but all of them want their wives to make peace with their family and be in their good books always.
Without deviating from the peaceful frameworks of their family life, if the ladies can do something to justify their own individuality, then its okay for these men. Now, how is that possible without Anandi or Ganga doing whatever they are doing currently?

Creatives are either biased or want to give preference to the patriarchal people that is why their 'good' female characters are like Anandi and Ganaga. A redeemed Sanchi is desperately trying to emulate Anandi. They did not show urban family, urban views in good light. In fact, there is no interaction of Anandi or Shiv with other urban families/friends. Anandi will help basti women or beggars - the slight deviation in Suhasini case was too short and still managed to show urban family in bad light.
