Alright now, my first riddle here:

Many have used the excuse to flee their fate,

But if you know me, you would know, for me that wasn't the case.

Position & power is the dream of many,

Yet the same things leads to troubles unforeseen, as you did see,it made me commit the felony.

Although I wasn't an easy catch for one of the dedicated dark ones,

But when he did , he knew, for all the wrong reasons , he got a good one.

I too took part in the great battle,the cause may not have been a good one,

But what does it matter now? For it strengthened the bond between a father & a son.

P.S :I have edited out few lines in the riddle becoz I thought those lines completely gave away the answer..if needed , I ll add those lines later as hints..

As always , all lines are clues..another easy one..have fun! 😊
