First of all, let me gush over the scene they showed in Thursdays preview of the shot of a-k standing together. Man. Do they look cute together or what. So sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!🤗 This is what a young, cute couple in love is supposed to be like. Now if only the whole wide world wouldn't be after them and would just let them be. Is that too much to ask for???????
Anyways. Today's episode was interesting, with accusations flying to and fro, budding romances, aborted life attempts and in the midst of all this, a-k causing you to go all, "Awwwwwww!!!"😉 I've taken up the role of amateur detective btw. I'm trying to figure out who will cause Josh to be bumped off. Since it can't be he himself (?????) or a-k or Aaliyah, thus apart from these four, everyone is on my list, and I'm on the lookout for the slightest clue or nuance of expression that could give them away. And I'm totally disregarding the fact that I'm generally very off the mark in my assumptions.😃
So, today's episode started with Kripa, modeling a bubbly, bouncy hair-do talking on the phone with Josh, who was waxing positively lyrical about Malaysia's many beauteous sights while Kripa seemed eager to impart to him the info that something was a-cooking between Simone and Prithvi. Josh, btw, seemed pretty taken aback by the fact that Simone was in town. So the finger of blame for that one definitely points straight in Karthiks direction. Grrr! Evil Karthik!!!😡 This whole scene was basically, I think, to inform us that the famous and much talked about hiking trip was imminent.
Cut to Josh bursting into Mishty's house and hollering the place down, calling for her. Mishty finally decided to announce her august presence and after a little verbal dueling, it was finally established that Mishty was indeed going along on the trip as well, with Josh promising to pick her up after picking up Aaliyah. Ok. Is it just my imagination or was Mishty a little curt when she told Josh that Aaliyah wasn't going along. Sigh! What can I say? Love is in the air. Mishty goes to get Josh coffee, leaving him going, "I think she likes me!" and in an adorable instance of purely Josh behavior, shrugging it off with a, "Ah well, who doesn't!"😆 Sigh! I'm so totally going to miss him!!!!!!!
The last scene of the first set shows Kripa getting ready for the trip with her mom fussing over her. Boy! True love sure does seem to agree with Kripa, she was positively chirpy today, pouting prettily and retorting merrily that she was going rock climbing, not fighting in a war, when her mother fussed and fretted and pressed home made food and first aid boxes on her. What a lovely change from Kripa usually being the glycerin queen. Enter Kripa's dad, worried that they ought not to go on the trip because of looming adverse weather conditions. I'm telling you, Mr Sharma is the sole person in kyph with any insight about the future. Thus his insistence about a quickie a-k wedding. Sigh!!! He was also the only one who bothered to check about such a minor thing as the weather before going on a hiking trip. Who exactly goes rock climbing when there's a storm brewing? Whoops! Sorry. I forgot that we were talking about Ekta-land over here.
Okay. The thing that rattled me the most about today's episode, and this might sound a bit irrelevant, but nevertheless, was why did Prithvi come to pick up Kripa. Why didn't Angad, pick her up????????????? Well. At least they had to pick up Simone as well. So there was that saving grace. Btw, do you guys think there really is something brewing between Prithvi and Simone???????? I don't think so for some reason.
The second set started with the much hyped about hiking trip finally materializing. And give me a moment over here to gush over how cute a-k looked!!!!!! Sigh! The scene where they show a-k walking up the hillside with Josh, with Angad totally hanging unto Kripa's arm and dragging behind was so shweeeet!!!!!!!
Kripa tried to make nice with Mishty, but got the royal blow off in return. Hmmm! I wonder if Mishty is behind any of the hanky panky with the hiking equipment. Cuz you know what they say about a woman scorned. Lol. Everybody's a suspect in my eyes at the moment.
Hey. The place where they went hiking, I wonder where that is? Probably outside of Bombay, right? It was so pretty, all those lush green verdant hills. Killer place! Anyways what with all three girls refusing to go, only the three guys were left. And while they sorted out their stuff, Angad SPECIFICALLY stated that he thought that there was something wrong with one of his hooks and check this, both Josh and then Prithvi, took the hook, examined it minutely and then gave it back saying it was fine!!!!!! Hmm! The mystery deepens.
Poor Angad and Kripa got a really bad scare today when Angad's hook gave way like that, leaving him dangling in mid-air. Although he was okay, just got a bad shock. Lol. First time I've seen anyone go rock climbing in plain old trainers, btw. So much for all the fancy shmancy footwear available for mountaineering.😃
The start of the third set showed things getting a bit ugly what with Josh examining Angad's equipment and finding that somebody had hacked away at his rope and also, Surprise! Surprise! Tampered with the hook!!!!! And he very directly accused Prithvi, who wasn't taking this lying down and retorted right back that it was he, Josh who had checked the harness. Poor Kripa tried to soothe things over by saying that Prithvi could never do that but before she could add and neither could you Josh, he stalked off in a huff, leaving Kripa to chase after him.
Lol. Okay. Time for the blooper of the day. When Josh marches off from the campsite, Kripa's hair is tied firmly back but when she catches up with him, a few feet away, her lovely locks are streaming behind her, with her hairdo beign completely different.😆
The scene where they are seated around the fire, singing, was rocking. Prithvi sang "Hum Bewafaa" all the time gazing very meaningfully in Kripa's direction. Who was off into a happy place off her own and completely oblivious to the lovelorn looks directed at her.😉 Then that cow Simone drawled that Angad should sing a song for them. Poor guy, surrounded by three girls who at one time or the other had been a part of his life. Loved how he looked at Kripa to check what he should he do and only started singing after she nodded. Sweet! He's finally figured out that it does not bode well for the future if you appear to be too openly indulgent towards your ex's with your ladylove present. Clever guy! He sang a song, "Haan yeh pyar hai", I think. Anyways, that's what I was able to gather, with past a-k lovey dovey scenes flashing on the screen.
The scene where Josh and Mishty were seated alone by the riverbank was kind of cute too. Man. If Mishty really does like Josh, which is what appears to be the case at the moment, then she is going to be royally put out if something is to happen to Josh. And I don't think that's going to bode well for anyone. Plus, what about Aaliyah? Hmm! Methinks we might just be shown the J-M-A triangle yet.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! The cutest scene of the day was where a-k were alone by the fire, with Angad lying on the ground with his head in Kripa's lap. Need I say more!!!!!!😛 😳😃Anyways, when they said that they wished that time would freeze and they could remain forever in that special place, I could not help agreeing vehemently. I wish they could remain like this forever too. Happy, contented, carefree, completely lost in each other. Some teasing bantering took place and then the scene froze with Kripa playfully lunging at Angad and at that instant, the screen froze for a moment, capturing a-k frozen in this joyous reverie. And then the episode ended. WITH NO PREVIEW!!!!!!!!😕
Wonder what that was all about. What was the point of that split second freeze? It was almost like somebody wanted to capture that happy, giddy, love in the air and all around instant in a snap shot. That's it. It was kind of like looking at a photo. And why didn't they give a preview??????????????????????
Now I'll be left wondering all night what they are going to show in tomorrows episode. Hmm!
A word of advice everyone; start downloading all the episodes as of today, because if (ok. ok. i'll come out of my denial. when, not if, when😭) the 🤬 new twist gets implemented, re-watching these videos will be the only thing that will shore you over till the next far, far off re-union.
Btw, have you all checked out the new preview from Set India. Ekta has apparently decided to try something new after all. And that too, a daring escape sequence set amidst a background of riots!!! In a, and I quote, "very dramatic episode!" Interesting.😃😆😉This I have got to see. Lol. So I'm guessing, the "cheap" photograph is a result of technological tampering and probably Karthik's latest plan to split apart a-k.

p.s. is it just me or did they show too much closeness between josh and kripa today? i was reminded of the discarded storyline where josh was supposed to fall for kripa. hmmm! just a feeling i had.😕
