Cute A-K/ Hmm S-P/ Kunal's back!

Today's episode definitely didn't look like a part of an EK show. Only one word for KYPH today….it was COOL! Angad-Kripa looked like a real-life regular much-in-love couple instead of the usual melodramatic "stretched-to-elastic's last breath" over-the-top K-couple. Infact, today, they were just like you and me.Okay, on to the show.
Kripa has grown increasingly fond of her and Josh's well-built Cupid…Josh. She is bonding well with him and they had a nice chat today about Simone and Prithvi…Josh was cool but it seemed as if alarm bells were actually ringing at the back of his head…..Josh is a guy with brains, right?
Josh and Mishtoo's mutual teasing is on full swing.Josh loves irritating her( he went to invite her and Prithvi for the hike) and Mishtoo is continuing with her "I-am-Snow-Queen-Next-Door" act and yeah, they look nice that way…good tuning. There's a slight change from the preview …no Aaliyah was around (she has left the show). It's only Josh and Mishty.
Kripa looked really cute as she packed for hiking …with her parents fussing over her…doing her traditional "Aarti" and packing food and medicine for her. It was actually very heart-warming to see such sweet scenes amongst family.
Angad didn't pick Kripa, Prithvi did and he picked Simone as well on the way( Prithvi convinced Simone to come along and trust me this girl looked a ZILLION times better today with all that cheesy dolled-up and sexed-up look gone and looking really smart in casuals. On second thoughts, she didn't look all that bad with Prithvi. By the way, Prithvi was looking really cool today.He has a nice "Om" tattoo on his arm and he carries it well.
Then come our darling A-K! It was such a lovely scene with Angad actually throwing his weight on fragile Kripa while hiking….taking her support, holding on to her in a tired way and poor Kripa pulling him along lovingly…Josh was enjoying the scene and when he teased them about it, they both ran behind him to hit him…It looked more of a scene off-camera!It was cute, romantic and hilarious.
Angad doesn't like to let go off Kripa at all, it is almost as if he fears losing sight of her. As Josh told the group about the trekking bit, Angad had his arms resting on Kripa in a wrap-around manner which made me actually adore their height difference.It was plain cute, nothing else.
Simone is warming up to Prithvi and stuck with him throughout the episode. Kripa is trying to be friends with Mishtoo but Mishtoo is still bitter and it actually hurts Kripa.Oucch! C'mon, Mishtoo.Life is too short for grudges, be a sport, hug friendship.
The Cliffhanger scene was not perfect but definitely well-executed. Josh had his doubts about the hook but Angad had waved it in the air. Result? Poor Angad holding on to dear life from the cliffhanger and Prithvi saving him in true heroic style as ladies-Kripa, Mishtoo, Simone watched with their hearts in their mouths.Kripa had started crying out of sheer panic.I have to hand credit where it is due. The scene was actually well-shot and the cloudy weather only added to the effect.
Josh and Prithvi had an argument over Angad's accident and Josh is convinced that somebody deliberately made an attempt on Angad's life and both Josh and Prithvi accused each-other ( waah! Kya tu-tu-main-main thi). Surprisingly, Mishtoo didn't defend her brother! Kripa defended Prithvi which angered Josh but later, both Kripa and Josh made up and were back to arm-slinging dosti of theirs.Awwwwww…..
The Bonfire was okay, not all that good. Angad-Kripa, the original love-birds seemed to be advertising for fevicol…Simone and Prithvi were advertising for Archies friendship cards, Josh and Mishty were advertising for cockroach V/s. cockroach spray ad! Hahahaha….
Prithvi sang a sad song from the film Shalimaar "Hum bewafa hargiz na the"( if my memory is right) furtively looking at Kripa but our darling butterfly was lost in thoughts of her favourite buttercup, Angad! Simone requested Angad to sing and so did everybody but Angad sang only when Kripa lovingly nodded at him…awwwwwww…Angad's original background voice is back..Kunal Ganjawala sang today's stanza and yeah, it's cool….no, not any lip-syncing..it was rather a song on the A-K reunion as they showed Angad singing some other song for Kripa.
Josh-Mishtoo are getting closer and as Mishtoo acted pricey, Josh faked a heart-attack and Josh laughed at Mishtoo's worried face…a genuinely cute scene. Josh is such a happy spirit and if Mishtoo falls for him and he dies…it'll be too much for this girl.
The last scene was cuteness personified…Angad lying down and resting his head in Kripa's lap…saying sweet-nothings to each-other and I realized that Kripa looks so happy these days as she hadn't in scores of previous episodes! Same goes for Angad but Kripa is definitely happier…cute A-K tiffs and it was so lovely to see Kripa go from stroking Angad's hair to pulling them , hitting him and a laughing Angad gathering her in his arms.
Today's episode was 7/10.
Josh rocked.
Mishtoo was totally in character.
Prithvi was brilliant.
Simone was cute.
Angad-Kripa were advertising for fevicol.
By the way, to all those who are straining their eyes searching for the sizzle factor, well, on Hafsa's lines….Angad-Kripa are a normal much-in-love couple and they are not advertising for contraceptives, please! Love is summer, winter, autumn, spring….and today it was spring…fresh, fragrant and pleasing.
