Heya Peeps! Here's my take on yesterday's Mahasangam! BTW I realized once again that I am a freaking crazy Zaya fan because having missed the episode at 9, I watched the repeat at 1 am last night! It was too late to write and post a review then. So posting it now! Here we go with my take!
High Points
Alright so episode was all about Zaya's new found love and their Romance! Nothing to add to the story line as such! But that's okay because that's exactly what we all knew was going to happen! Anyways so coming to the point!
My favourite part of the episode was the Darga visit! How I loved every bit of it!
The way Aliya taught Zain how to worship was very touching! What else could a girl ask for if her husband tells her, "meri Ibadat bhi tum ho aur meri paakeezgi bhi tum ho"! Aliya rightly said earlier, "Woh sirf mera sauhar nahi, meri har dua ka jawab hai woh, meri har sajde ka sabab hai woh, meri pehli aur akhri mohhabbat, mera sukoon, mera humkadam" it's like they are each other's world and as I read somewhere in the forum itself that She is his religion, just to add on I want to say, he is her religion too! And what a lovely message, Isn't Love the main preaching of every religion! So well portrayed! Kudos CVs!
Coming to the Romance: The episode was definitely very Romantic! The euphoria of new found love is what I call it! Zain was not ready to let go off Aliya even for a second! When Aliya said, she feels that her feet are not on the ground and later when he said "aj main tumhe apne pair zameen pe nahi rakhne dunga," I am sure everyone was reminded of the lines "Laye tum kahan pairon ko jahan milti hi nahi zameen" I loved Zain's filmy way of showing Aliya how much&what her love and she means to him!
However, even with the plus as stated above I have a few random musings! Read on and do help me with the Answers too!
What was with the poolside Romance? I definitely loved it but I was left confused! I wanted to know if they consummated their marriage? I mean Zain was desperate but was the poolside sequence it? Was it the SR? Well, I do feel even if it was we might or rather should just get another one with focus solely on Zaya without interruptions!!
Also, wasn't besharam Zain really besharam yesterday! He was in full on Romance mode, his heart-mind-body singing "Khullam khulla pyaar karenge hum dono" I so get it! He was so frustrated with KMHs that he decided to grab his day out with Aliya & romance her before getting back to Bawdi Villa! *Understood* Well honestly, I don't think Zain, otherwise would have asked another couple to accompany them to his house had it not been the channel's demand! It would irritate the hell out of him under only Beintehaa episode circumstances! Poor Zain!
Also, I did not like the ending! The fire sequence was pretty unnecessary for Beintehaa! It was done to show how Major saab recovers! I genuinely feel Zaya could have been left out from the fire drama! Esp., coz I found it OTT how Zain took ages to break the glass wall with a danda whereas Rudra bana pushed open the fixed glass door with his handicapped hand! I mean that's not logically possible! (Just my viewpoint No offence intended)
Also, What's with the editing?! The scenes shifting specially after the pool romance seemed badly done! I did not like their copy-pasting the confession scene at the end either! But I say it's ok to that! Considering shooting another sequence would have meant all the more work for the over-worked BI leads!
Nonetheless, over all the Mahasangam was good! Worth a watch, if not for anything then for the seer purity of Zaya's Love and the magic of their romance!
PS: I am dying to see what happens next I mean as much as I would dislike to see bawdi around Zaya! I can't wait to see their behaviour in Bhaad! I am very eager to see Beintehaa mohabbat which has just started its journey!
*Abhi se Haal hai aisa na jane hoga kaisa jo yeh ho gaya* Beintehaa.. these lines are what I'll leave you guys with! see you around!
