Yes,that's the plight of the oh so great show! Jodha Akbar!
Disclaimer:This is not one of my usual threads where I infuse humour into every unconvincing thing they've showed in JA. Its not pretty and nice. Its blunt and I cant stop myself from finally venting it out.
The title I gave is perfect for the show as of now. All its juice has been sucked out,and its getting bitter with every bite. the only reason Im still holding onto the mango,is bcoz its the king of fruits.
There is absolutely no ray of hope. The characters were butchered long ago and now the storyline has also hit the bucket. Its absolutely CRAP! This is why I had been saying from the beginning that they need to incorporate the political/war aspect in Jalal's life. It always benefits a historical show. And trust me,the way the romance is being shown,political drama would be much more fruitful.
But no,the oh such creative CVs have shown the SAME tracks repetitively. See I'll show you,this is what they've shown in JA for 1 year
Jashn->misunderstanding track->pregnancy track->jashn->misunderstanding track->pregnancy track->jashn->...
and it goes on. How pathetic! They've made a mockery of such important figures in history. Just the other day,the hamam scene was the limit! The emperor has no better job to do other than massaging Ruqaiya in the HAMAM and playing eye games with Jodha who is also in the same room! 🤣

This is now what you promised us in the promos. This is straight up backstabbing. The romance has no substance and every two minutes,Jalal takes her to the room and to do what?Hold hands and give air kisses 🤣
Wow! 👏 Im not saying I want kisses. No. I want scenes which have substance. Scenes can look sensual even without kissing. They just need to figure out how. And yes,it is a good argument one made about RuqLal scenes not lacking the proximity we would have otherwise liked between Jal-Jo.
I honestly dont care whats going on with them offscreen. I only care about the show.They made a commitment to the show and it almost seems as though they've taken success for granted. The show was very important to both them. It marked the come back of Rajat. And I for one,know,how much it meant to him. And he wa sthe first reason I was glued to the show. And Pari,needless to say,it was her first major lead. So,it is bound to be special.
Im sick of their nakhres. They made a commitment and they HAVE to deliver. It is only here in India,that based on knowing a person,the contract can be tampered with as per his/her wish.If it was the States,they would have been sued!
And please dont tell me its,its a 8 pm slot and blaa blaa. Watch the old Iss pyaar ko..it also came at 8. And no please dont temme its a historical and thus...I follow ONLY historicals and never have I seen such bland scenes no matter how long the show ran.
They better air the show in a kids channel,since the show is so kid-friendly. Sadly for us,we are not kids and do not enjoy such bland storylines. And with people like Maham,Javeeda etc,its safe to say that we have enough cartoons!

being a fan of this show is too much hardwork. Bear the rumours,the protests,negative articles. Get zero interviews of the actors. And all for what? Nothing.
They say hardwork always bears fruits. Fruits we got,but they have been chewed on by worms.
Ekta,u proved that U cannot handle historicals. Please stick to ur saas bahu shows.
EDIT: Some points I forgot to mention...
Im sick of the harem ladies and their silly games with the emperor and each other. They need to shoot outdoors. Some hunting trip or khazaane ki khoj(yes,at this point of time,they have no option other than copying legendary shows like Prithviraj's Chauhan's tracks,since the Cvs have no creativity of their own.Although these useless CVs have talent of messing up even such brilliant ideas for tracks. )
Since they are no good in showing wars,a trip would be a good replacement.
And wasnt the maha episode supposed to be about that secret gufa? Didnt like the ME at all. The only substantial thing they showed were the lats five minutes of Jodha getting that message,going to Jalal and discussing it. And yes that bit about Jalal being dyslexic.
Its become a habit of these people to disappoint us.
