Taran and Komal have almost always given their numbers which exceed the BOI numbers by 10-20 crores...take any recent movie...it will be the same difference...

Having said that...thoda mushkil lagta hai...D3 ka record break hona...Honestly I think only PK will be able to do that...The HW movie on which BB is based was a total wash out in theaters...so I don't know...but considering the star powers of Hritik and Kat...the movie should make atleast 150-175 cr...

I think it can...D3 grossed that much for couple of reasons - 1. holiday season and 2. dhoom brand that was made much much bigger and recognisable by HR in D2.

Coming to BB, it has holiday season almost similar to D3 (not as good as D3's though). Gandhi Jayanti, followed by eid on monday/tuesday.

as far as brand, when HR can make dhoom such a big brand there is no reason to deny why BB will also be such big specially with news on actions/style etc. BB is believed to be similar in style and industry news is that music is also good. If all these are true, it can definitely go beyond d3. Infact, I think PK will not beat d3 as it's arriving with Welcome Back.
