This is my reply to a post about Madhu Jr, since it's somehow related to the episode I'm posting here too😊

I like this Madhu much better than tortured Mahan one, so of course I would love a woman who would behave like a human being and not an angel.

but I have few questions mainly about the consistency of her character :where was this attitude when she was tortured by Leelawati yet she kept forgiving her and treating her well, when was this attitude when Ak was doing the same and she was calling him Abhay sir, she faced him only few times and Raju was one of the reasons and why is she talking about police now where was the police when her mentally challenged husband was tortured and she even got a confession from Abhay that he was the one who hit Raju with that Truck and tried to kill him, back then all she said is that Raju will be ok and that her power of woman will win, but she never tried to make Abhay pay for his deeds through police!

I also heard that she had problems with handling a smartphone when she came to Mumbai, this is not a problem at all, but she should not be snobbish with the dehati people for not knowing about CCTV cameras and how to use the lift, she herself was from Matura which is a small city right!

I know she doesn't like them and I have no problem with that, she thinks they are regressive, agressive, it's ok but about the other things I don't think she should be snobbish

No matter how these people are, they at least treated her well as per what their traditions and beliefs allowed them (Baiji and Tauji ), they had no bad intentions towards her unlike Leelawati who tortured her and called her characterless, yet she forgave her

I'm taking nobody's side, everyone here is flawed and each one have their reasons but I just want consistency in characters and no double standards

ETA: I understand her feelings, as she can never live; trust or love these people who can kill cold bloodedly but I just was analyzing in terms of the hurt and harm she really suffered, letting aside the fear she must have felt amongst these people, she never suffered physically or been humiliated, even when Bhanu tried, Raja made him pay! so apart from what she thinks about them, they so far did nothing to really harm her (let aside Bhanu and Agni who are the real villain/vamp of the show)

They seem to have focussed on that, after AK's death, for some reason or other, the couple be shown conflicting.
But JM is not just shown conflicting. She had a total unbelievable character-change, not just towards Raja but anyone associated with him. (Faguni seems to have been kept as a sop as the only time JM doesn't behave with snobbishness.)
She has been more polite to far worse people who treated her horribly in public. So her sudden rudeness is just too plot-convenient.
She's from Mathura, but is bizarrely shown thinking of Mumbai as home.

And looking so fondly at the penthouse home where she should have only bad memories.
The only good memories associated with the place are of with 'Raju', so if she ignores that, she shouldn't want to come to that place at all.
Yeah, Raja would insist that it's theirs, but she should have looked irate about that.

And it wouldn't be solely hers either as Kundra property, except *maybe* after a long fight.
If property is unclaimed for years, government auctions it off to the highest bidder. And Radha never looked back in two decades to know or care about reclaiming it.
JM could definitely fight it out, but would need to pay for the fight for her expensive legacy with money that would be hers only through that expensive legacy.

Like trying to buy back your purse and its contents, but all the money you can rely on is in that purse as its contents.

For plot-convenience, either the female lead or male lead is scapegoated in this series. But TRP aunties have an unfortunate trackrecord of forgiving male leads a 1000 things (upto and including murder of the wife's family) and the female leads not even one.
Just hope that for track-convenience, JM is allowed to change from her suddenly metropolitanly aware new form.

Since they already showed her in a pretty similar hick style to Raja's family, it looks like a repeat that anyone not from a big city must behave like a idiot in the city to make the audience laugh.

On the upside, all the village people are looking more relateable, as the city people - JM and the new lady - have both been shown throughout as inconsiderate, snobbish and elitist boorish.

If someone doesn't look sophisticated, one may apparently disrespect them as if it's a crime in and of itself. And if they react with even a threat to your insults, it's they who are boors?🥱

In the precap, JM's description of Mumbai seemed to be of one in some alternate universe. Both law and criminals have been an outstandingly visible facet of the city.
Maybe she might be permitted to give a slightly more realistic description of the city she *has* actually lived in for years.

Might be entertaining to see the reactions of the Kushwaha clan to the knowledge that their supposedly metropolitan bahu - who was shown so plot-conveniently disgusted by unfair rituals - comes from one of the prime ritual-heavy holy places, and was raised in a house smaller but not too different in appearance from the Kushwaha village house.

It's right up there with Raja's sudden extreme hick persona, as if Raju's cosmopolitan diction and technical know-how was jettisoned with restored memory.

So our lead couple are separately suffering from bouts of partial amnesia as best convenient to their personae for the track.
