Aryan Vaid:His writing dreams

I'm concentrating on films these days. Apne with the three Deols is due for release. I play a negative character. The film Simran with the Pak- istani actress, Meera is in the pipeline. I'm also doing a film called Kings Cross, to air on Channel 4 in London. I hope they have a the- atrical release in Mumbai too. Writing I want to write a love story Writing . for a daily soap is a full time job. I can't write a saas- bahu show because I don't relate to the char- acters. I come from a normal family and it is very difficult for me to draw a parallel to any of the characters with the ones I know personally. However, I would love to write a show like Sailaab. Daily soap The Kaajjal team had approached me with a good offer..but, I can't commit the dates required. Today, television is too demanding and I'm very caught up with my ramp shows and films. I started my career with the serial Campus. I'd prefer anchor-based shows as they are not as time consuming. I also enjoyed my stint at Bigg Boss. I would love to have a reunion with the others who were there. Love My personal life has taken a back seat right now. Actually, I've been single ever since I got into this busi- ness.
