At the end of a days hard work,we tune in to a virtual world of entertainment...a world that promises love,happiness...of course,not without its small amount of twist thrown in,to make the final conquest sweeter.Serials have come a long way from masterji of Buniyaad to the sixpacked ,swashbuckling heroes and the dolled up heroines.Their characters are more colourful,bolder and better defined.

.I have never watched Ektas serials,because there is no connection between the beginning and the end...save Jodha,because I felt that a historical could not be distorted way too much.That is why I tuned to EMA...because people told me that dJs HAD a good creative team...but what I did not realise was that HAD was the key word

I am yet to come across a story with this many loose ends or bloopers...the fiasco of kalpi results,the disappearance of Prem kapoor,the overnight recovery of Gauri,daadis improvement

These are but small blots in the bigger stains that have tainted the picture.A small voice tells me that handlers of this story have shared bad experiences with their mothers...lest why would they uniformly portray mothers so?

Kamala...universally disliked.By thrusting her dreams on her daughter,she has snatched away from her,even the power to dream.Why complain of her partisan nature ,when she differentiates between her own son and daughter?Why does she not have any aspirations for him?And as somebody rightly pointed out,in the name of parvarish and sanskaar,she has successfully alienated a daughter from her mother.She has made Paaki hate her mother,which is unacceptable

Neetu Kapoor...sees her daughter as a means to get back her lost wealth

Gauri...the latest entrant...who despite meeting her son after this many years ,is using him as an instrument of her revenge...putting her feelings over his

Fathers of EMA

Both Vitthal and Saahil claim to love their daughters...but place their wives in front,they forget all else.In fact,I found the dance sequence yesterday,where Vitthal catches Kamalas saree and dances highly distasteful.Their daughter is in pain ,having lost her love...and the parents,instead of cheering her up are busy romancing.

Raghav Singhania

A dashing,arrogant,selfmade man was turned into a die hard romantic,chasing Kalpana all over the city...a little difficult to digest,yet acceptable...love makes you blind...overnight changes into mamaS boy and marries in haste...repents in leisure...At present he is a confused,spineless,jabbering twit.How the mighty have fallen!!!!

Paaki Kapoor

The ideal heroine material...fair,pretty...only the creatives miscalculated.All that beauty paled in comparison to the brilliance of Kalpis sterling character.Paaki is being promoted and is the heroine of EMA,from now on...but she probably is the first lead lady who will not have anyone connecting with her or crying for her...the first heroine whom people will hate more than the vamp.

Revenge

I am yet to see it.What is their concept?Making rich people stay in the chawl? Using their daughter...how?As far as I can see,she is in luxury,she has all her designer wear,she has free access to communicate with the people who give her wrong advise.If they are not by her side ,when she cuts the cake...does that qualify as revenge?Strange concepts!!!

Despite all this,I tune in to LU with the hope that I will get Ragna.Day by day,this hope dwindles.But now i have reached the point where I no lomger care...it has gone much beyond Ragna...Seeing the attitude of the creatives and the support cast,reading their harsh language,it has now become a war...yes,we viewers pay our subscription,revenue comes in the form of advertisements...this provides finance to support the channel...this is from all viewers,not restricted by any boundary or timeline.To say that international viewers are not considered,reeks of insensitivity,to give us the option of changing the channel speaks of arrogance,the usage of foul language reeks of lack of culture...so to all of them ,out there ,who are sitting on their high horses

If you can meet victory and defeat in the eye

And learn to treat both impostors just the same

Yours is the Earth and all hats in it

Youll be a MAN ,my son

So learn to be a man and accept both the bouquets and brickbats with equanamity

...let me tell you ,you will meet with success.You have just begun the long race...it will be a matter of time before you are cast by the wayside,if you do not rethink and recoup...because it is the fans that make or break a star...more than a story or hard work

Beautifully put into words bravo bravo!!!!!! PD ko lessons do on how to express urself anyways one point is true I have also lost interest in Ragna . You know , when i compare EMA to Sasural Genda Phool and the first ever hindi serial Khaandaan , i'm amazed at thier lack of cativity. Someone had posted that side characters have been poorly dealth with and that's so tru. Whenever i remember SGP i always remember all the side characters even more than the leads and that should be the power of the CVs ... To create memorable characters who will always stay with u till the end

. This PD was a part of Geet CV team . No wonder , i used to love dhrasti and gurmeet 's acting skills but the height of ridiculousness of the show was the heroine is almost 4- 5 months pregnant and with a stoamch flater than aishwarya rai bacchan. She was also shown jumping off tables, running behind cars, working in a paint co, carrying heavy things and yet managed to carry her child . So i can understand where she comes from .
