"Shlok!Let go of me!"Astha hissed out again,as she felt his hand round her tighten some more,making it impossible for her to move in any way whatsoever.

Astha's fight was double as she had to fight against his hold physically and also fight the warmth that was seeping through her stupid reacting body due to his proximity.

How can he make me feel likea useless jelly of emotions everytime I come close to him..?!She thought in vain.

His hand had tightened around her,and she could feel her night dress moving up..

And then the next instant she was feeling his warm breath against her cleavage,as he sank his face there..

Instantly she went rigid,and looked down warily almost sure by now,that he was really awake,and faking to be asleep.

He mumbled something against her hot skin,giving her goosebumps all over,as her breathing became heavier along with her fast heart rate.

She gave him a hard push,and was about to move away when something made her stop..

Something in his voice sounded different..

And..And her skin where his face touched felt wet..

And that was when Astha realized he was sobbing!

She looked down to ensure her guess was right,or maybe she was imagining things,and her heart nearly overturned at what she saw!

He was holding on to her,like his life depended on it,and silent tears were falling from his closed eyes,as he kept mumbling something..

Astha carefully lowered herself to hear what he was saying,and his words nearly made the walls around her heart melt..

"Don't..!Don't leave me..!Please..!Don't leave me please..!"

Astha inhaled a steadying breath,trying to calm her nerves,as she tried to get in term with what she was seeing..

Shlok Agnihotri..THE Shlok Agnihotri was sobbing like a kid!!!

Astha could not stop thepainful squeeze she felt at her heart at the sight of him weeping like this..She was sure he would not have wanted her to see him in this state,but he was deep in sleep..

But whom was he asking not to leave him..?!What did he mean by this..?!

His hand tightened on her arm,making her wince in pain,but she kept silent.

And then his next words fell like a bomb in the silent room,nearly making her stop breathing.

"SNEHA!!!Don't leave me please!Let me help you!Please don't leave me like this!"

Astha felt something inside her cry out at his words.

WHO WAS THIS SNEHA?!!

She thought in stunned silence..

The entire day the next day,Astha was lost in thoughts of the unknown woman called Sneha..Who was she?!

Was she a very special someone to Shlok?!Of course she was,why else would he be crying for her not to leave him?!Why else would he be so heart wrenched at her leaving?!

She suddenly did not like the idea of Shlok feeling so much for any girl,no matter who she might be..

Astha suddenly felt furious at Shlok,that girl called Sneha and also herself,for letting it matter to her so much..!But helplessly she felt it did indeed matter a lot to her..

She did not know why,she did not know how much it mattered..All she knew was that she wanted to find out about this mysterious Sneha who still gave her Shlok nightmares!

WHOA!!STOP JUST THERE GIRL!!!WHEN did Shlok Agnihotri become YOUR SHLOK?!

Astha nearly blushed red as she realized her mistake,and got busy with her chores..

She will find out about that Sneha later on..

It was late in the evening,and Shlok had not returned home yet..

Astha noticed her mother-in-law sitting alone in the drawing room and sewing something..

This was the chance she decided..

She should ask her about Sneha now..

She slowly walked upto her..

"Ummm..Saasubai..?"

"Yes beta..Is everything alright..?Did you needed something?"The older woman smiled at her,and Astha braced herself to take the bull by the horn.

"Yes..I..I needed to know who Sneha is?"Astha blurted out in a breath,and felt her words had fallen like a bomb on her mother-in-law,as her smile instantly vanished..

Astha could not help but frown in confusion,as her mother-in-law's face turned pale at the question.

And then the next instant she had recovered herself and putting on a mock smile reassured her that Astha did not have to worry about any Sneha,and she could not even remember anyone by that name..

Astha was about to question her further on this matter,when suddenly the land phone started ringing.

"Hello..?"Astha stared at her mother-in-law's face,and noticed in awe as her face once again went paper white and the phone fell off her hand..

Instantly Astha ran to her side to hold her steady as she seemed to be tripping..

"Saasubai..?!What happened..?"She asked as she made the older lady sit on the sofa..

"Shlok-..Shlok had an accident.."She managed to stammer out in an unsteady voice..

And this time it was Astha who felt her entire was about to tilt on its axis..!
