my first thought was to tell you to be yourself, don't change, be honest, truthful and respectful towards the girl/guy.. but I have noticed some people are looney toons .. they are unable to comprehend others logic and must impose their thoughts on others. There are odd.. if you are like that, you would notice because people would be running away from you within 5 mins of conversation.. if that is like you then obviously you must give up on finding true love.

you must live a lie and change yourself completely. Or you can devout yourself to your hobby

Umm.. don't take love half-heartedly, genuinely care about people and what your words/actions can potentially do to them, don't be too carried away by people who show too much love, adoration and affection .. let people unfold in a natural pace, and most importantly, exercise caution when people's hearts are on the line including yours.
