The reason Naman wasn't talking to Devyani was because he thought she left them as kids because that is what their dad fed them as kids.
Whereas, what has Devyani done to Naitik, in fact it is Naitik who is constantly making faces at her and insulted her and never apologised. If he didn't want her to come he should have put his foot down. No one is asking him to accept her as his mother because that would be unfair however respecting her isn't as hard as he is making it to be. His father didn't have an affair with Devyani while married to Gayatri did he, where you could understand his hatred. But right his hatred isn't justified.
The moment Naman and Muskaan realised they were wrong they came to their mother, how is that a wrong thing to do? Naitik despite knowing he was rude still hasn't apologised, so what shall we make of that? Naman and Muskaan realised that their father had lied to them their whole lives about their mother, how can you expect them to go back their dad just because he took care of them. Well it was his selfishness that kept them motherless for so long. I don't think I would have wanted to stay with my father either.
He is 30 years old and a father who just recently taught Duggu, don't be rude to others and don't think too much of yourself and look what he does. He knows they have the higher hand because they are male and therefore despite it being both of Devyani and RB's second marriage they treat Devyani like they did a favour on her by accepting her.
All they had to do was act calm and just treat them normally just like when they were the old Naman and Muskaan. No one is saying for him to treat them all brotherly or that BM should treat them as her niece and nephew and neither are they saying RB to treat them like his kids. Just treat them as normal human beings. They constantly kept remind Devyani that don't forget your responsibility to us and all. When that was the most inconsiderate thing to say, those are her OWN KIDS, her flesh and blood. And they are holding over her the fact that they accepted her as a way to get her to leave her kids. Instead of burdening her with the guilt they should have let her meet her kids properly.
