What happened to my Sandhya?

The Sandhya who spoke to Sooraj authoritatively during the initial days of marriage was back. I mean the damsel in distress was nowhere to be seen. It was ASP Sandhya Rathi speaking to Sooraj Rathi. Not Sandhya speaking to her Soorajji.

But I liked the fact that she was worried and was trying to make everyone understand why she said what she said. So this MU might be cleared here. But more are to come.

liked the authoritative voice of sandy

and clearly saying she cant misuse her power for the family

good that she spoke it in the beginning itself

now RP will think twice before asking sandy IPS to help

and her practical explanation is going to be more interesting

She is kadak on bahu dharma, beti dharma, IPS dharma but patni dharma well why bother about it when your sweet hubby is running around you, pacifying you, standing by you doing all the other dharmas. Though what she said to Sooraj in the privacy of GG room I was fine with, when she declined to help Momily blunt in the aangan was not right as a wife.

@Deebz I agree with you what she did in GG room. But what she did in aangan was not right. Sooraj is her husband and it is a wife's duty to protect her husband's honour in front of the family. Sooraj saved her face in front of RP without telling what she told him in office. She could have taken the cue and in aangan would have told I will explore the possibilities as it is not my department. Then in the privacy of GG room she should have had a discussion with her husband on why she cant, convince him and allow him to present the version to his family which she very well knows he is good at. But no she has to keep her moral high ground.

For Sandhya to value Sooraj she def needs another jhatka like those divorce papers and those packing of bags and keeping in bus. Only then she will realize who or what is more important in her life.
