Chapter 5
Arnav was seated in his private jet which was about to take off. He sighed remembering his Di's poker face today morning when he was preparing to leave for the airport. He ignored her. She was relieved when she got to know that Sheetal was vacating from there. Sheetal... Well... That's a different case.
He don't know what's the problem with his wife and Di. He agreed that it was his fault that he shouted at Khushi and told things which he shouldn't have and he truely regret that. He still remember the shocked and unbelievable expression of his wife when he uttered those words. Even though he came back from Lucknow after their fight he was restless. When he realizes his mistake he was too late. When his di returned back that evening from Lucknow Khushi was not with her. When he asked his Di she replied that Khushi went to America to stay with Akash and Payal. To say he was shocked and furious. How dare she didn't informed him and went away. When he reasoned with his DI, she scolded him badly. She even requested him to give some time to Khushi. Only because of that he didn't went to America to get his wife back.
He was really hurt when Khushi refused to talk with him. So he stopped calling her. But he daily called Akash who gave him details of Khushi. From Akash he got to know that Khushi started to go to class. He was really hurt and guilt when he felt that because of him Khushi felt she is illiterate and not worthy. Only if she knew how much he loved her. If only she told him the reason why she wanted to go to Lucknow, he could have avoided this situation of his life. Alas! What happened had happened and no one could change the fact now.
Arnav Singh Raizada is a man on mission now and no one could stop him from getting back his wife!

Khushi is happy with her life in America. She was really shattered when she came here. But after some days she realized that she is simply wasting her time by crying over nothing. She know that she has to move forward in her life and show to some one in her life that she is worthy. So she started to became her old self.
She took the first step towards her new life by going to a spoken english class. It's not that she don't know english, she could understand what others are saying but she can't speak to others fluently. When she first entered the class she was very nervous. There were many people of different ages from various countries.. The teacher was an american whose name is John Stephen. He was an middle aged man. All welcomed her warmly and she became comfortable with others. With in nearly a month of class she is confident about herself and her english. One thing she noticed about this country is that here no one looks at what you are doing unlike her own country where everyone is curious to poke their nose in others issues. Here everyone is busy with their own life. She used to call to her house and her in laws.
In all these days she didn't thought of calling Arnav for once. She thought that he loved her for who she was. But it was not the case. In one of the heated moment he split in to her face the reality. She was really broken beyond repair when she heard those cruel words from him. She always allowed him to took her for granted. But not anymore! She has a life of her own and she will concentrate on that rather than crying over a person who is not worthy of her. It's not like she is going to separate from Arnav, it's just that she want some time for herself. In all these, the people who helped her most is her sister in law and brother in law. She will be always thankful to Anjali and NK. Rather than Arnav's Di, now Khushi felt that Anjali is her own sister who cares for her very much. It's true that some relationships are thicker than blood and she is blessed to have such relations.

It was past mid night when Arnav reached America. He saw Akash waiting for him when he came out from the airport. Soon both of them got in the car after passing each other pleasantries.
Arnav: "Did Khushi know about me coming here?" He asked breaking the silence. Akash who was driving nodded a 'No' to Arnav who seemed disappointed.
Arnav: "Is she happy Akash?"
Akash: "As of now she is okay bhai." Arnav who understood the double meaning behind Akash's words didn't asked further questions. Rest of the journey passed in an uncomfortable silence.

Both them entered Akash's apartment. As it was very late Payal and Khushi had already slept.
Akash: "I will ask Payal to set table for you.
Arnav: "No need Akash. I have already ate from the flight and I'm not hungry." Akash nodded at this. Again there was an uncomfortable silence.
Arnav: "Ermm... Which one is Khushi's room Akash?" Akash seemed visibly unsure about what to do. Arnav who sensed his hesitation snapped at him. "She is my wife dammit!"
Akash: "But she is not comfortable with you bhai." Akash snapped back. Arnav who obviously didn't want to make a scene here cool down his temper.
Arnav: "Fine! Just tell me which room she is in. I will see her for once and will go and sleep in OTHER room." He stressed the word 'OTHER'. Akash who sensed his bhai's desperation quickly showed Khushi's room and Arnav's room in which he should stay and retired for his room.

Arnav entered the room in which Khushi was sleeping. By just entering the room in which his wife was sleeping he felt at ease. He saw the angelic face of his wife who was sleeping in her taek wando pause. He chuckled at the way of her sleeping. He felt relieved when he understood that she consider this as her house. Otherwise she wouldn't have slept in her taek wando pause. He stepped out of the room after kissing her forehead lovingly.

Morning rays hit Khushi's eyes disturbing her sleep. She stretched her hands straight and got seated in the bed yawning. She felt something different today from other days. She set aside that thought considering it as one of her sanki-ness. She headed to the bathroom to get freshen. Soon she came out dressed in one of her new dresses which she brought from here after coming here.

She could feel something inside her as she neared to the living room. She saw a worried Payal who was giving coffee to a visibly upset Akash. She wondered out what would be the reason for their restlessness.
Khushi: "Good morning jiji and jiju." She entered the living room with a bright smile. But her smile vanished away when she saw Arnav who was sitting opposite to Akash. She became shocked and rooted to her spot. All she could hear was the cruel words once Arnav uttered to her.
"You know what is your problem is Khushi? You have started to behave and think like a typical wife."
"If u r comparing yourself with Sheetal it's not my problem but yours. Because you started to realize your flaws."
"Exactly.. I should have not married u. I should have kicked u out of my life the moment i came to know about our past."
"Yeah... if u didn't stop this stupid behaviour of urs i'm going to do that itself."
