Twist or twisted

All the CVs of PDs want to give twists. They look for the biggest shock factor to garner on either sorrow or disgust or any such negative emotion. I personally have no problem with any twist. It is after all a drama meant to keep us engrossed and entertained. My problem is with the execution of these twists.
The story is logical before the twist but as soon as a twist is given the characters change, the story is from the same old tattered book and the execution is sooo poor. There will be million bloopers and editing issues. The story comes to a standstill and the acting looks forced. This is not just true to EMA but just about any other popular serial where the CVs decided to twist it but lost focus and the serial died an early painful death.
I wish that for once the Cvs realize that after the twist viewers will appreciate the serial more if the story moves forward and is not dragged. The viewers feel the pain or whatever emotion they want to touch upon and not cringe.
Why do the CVs leave the story at the twist and not carry it forward?
I have already stopped watching this show I hope more join in so that the production houses get some sense and not follow the same routine.
This is just my view and not meant to hurt anyone's feelings.
