Ankita is not able to pull off the vamp role.

Laila is such an important character.

In The beginning episodes the Image & aura of Laila was perfect.

I was looking forward to the havoc she will create for PaRud, but Ankita could not pull through the same aura of the initial episodes.

Sad to say that her OTT acting sometimes even takes away from the leads, AS & SI

Ananya keeps me on the edge with her acting, even though Mohini is irritating, but the actress is awesome. Tarun was so impressive as Tejawat that we all want him back. Same thing with the brother in law in the show that should not be named. He was hated, but so convincing in his role. When he left, we wanted him back, remember?

I hope with Laila leaving for sometime, she should refine her acting a little bit and come back.

I never blamed Ankita initially. This second time around I am not liking her acting at all. Especially when she tries to be sweet and coy her acting and voice modulation is really bad. I think Ankita is unable to portray the evilness along with being fake sweet at all!

It could have been powerful if done well but sadly its just irritating because the viewers are not convinced with her acting! I think Ankita needs to improve a lot!

I have always appreciated KCM because Ananya makes it enjoyable though the character is outrageously evil!

Agree with you about people who can't differentiate between reel and real . But for me negative roles aren't for Ankita because I saw her previous shows like BHPH and a few episodes of Amrit Manthan there she rocked it but as far as her role Laila, that ain't suiting her comparing to the other antagonists of this show.

Just my opinion.

Both, I can stand the vamp aunt, but can't stand the vamp other woman, why, not because of the role she plays but the enactment itself. Sorry but the actress can't act the role of a vamp.😆

I agree with you.

I think when there's a post critizing Ashish or Sanaya's acting (if ever) there seems to be a team on either side ready to defend them.

Ankita seems almost fair game.

In all reality has anyone even considered that most Vampy female antagonists ARE like Laila portrayed by Ankita: Sort of cheesy, over the top etc?

Komolika, Mandira, Arpana, that chick from Uttran whose name I can't remember?

That's how they are. They're facial expression usually ARE over the top, their Make up is usually over the tops as well, as are their clothes. That's just something I've noticed after watching numerous shows with the same cliched theme.
