If for a minute you look beyond yesteryears singers and music directors then prime examples of good singers like Arijit Singh, Amit Trivedi, Amitabh Bhatachariya, Javed Ali, Benny Dayal, Mohit Chauhan and music directors like Amit Trivedi, Sachin Jigar, Mithoon and Sohail Sen are giving some real melodious music.

For instance, Lootera album is a gem. One of the music albums ever. Other prime examples are Queen, Aashiqui 2, Raanjhanaa, Barfi, Highway, Kai Po Che, Kaminey, YJHD, Rockstar, Cocktail, YJHD, English Vinglish etc...

If I had to list down some of my recent favs which I listen to it even if it's few years old.

how many of these singers are capable to sing live ??? except javid ali none of these singers sound same in live ...they all use technology and auto tuners for exmple Mohit Chahun he can not sing live to even save his life but still in studio who known what they do to voices there are many software's now available many more people can become singers where is the originality of live singing ???? and 2ndly who will remember these songs after 3 years or so ...why dont songs last for long period of time??? many of them just come and go some are just heard till the release of their film and den over shadowed by new songs ...if u compare these songs with older lot u can understand my point of view ...

all these songs are now marked as evergreen Classics but its not the case with new songs their life time is too short to say because of all that techno support ... Orginality of singers voices are gone down the hill now ...Eariler Kumar Sanu , Udit Narayan , Sonu Nigam , Alka Yagnik , Kavita < Anuradha had to sing live in the recording studio as well .There voices dominated the song ...There were no softwares used in studios to edit the voices and make dem sound sureela or better ...
