Dil Dostii Dance - Written Update for 20th May 2014

Rey, Swayam and the boys are in the locker room and laughing at his prank on Kriya. Swayam is a bit skeptical but is amused all the same. In the girls locker room, Simmi is trying to drape a sari on Kriya, albeit unsuccessfully, while Rinni is trying to fix her hair while Sharon is shouting out instructions to the two. It's a complete chaos around Kriya who asks everybody to shut up and stop what they're doing. Simmi then gets an idea and offers Kriya a salwar suit that she has on her, which would be easy to wear. The others agree, and they all discuss about how weird it is to meet their boyfriend's parents. Simmi remarks that she'd run off to Goa if she'd ever have to meet Nil's parents. Kriya gets ready in the salwar suit and the girls compliment her and wish her luck. On the other side, Swayam remarks that even Sharon's been talking about introducing him to her mother, to which Vicky remarks that it is Parents' Day. Nil remarks that if he has to meet Simmi's mother, he'd run off to Goa. Rey runs off to welcome Kriya at his place.

At Rey's place, Kriya is practising various ways to greet Papa Singhania outside the door, after which she rings the bell and Rey opens the door. He's floored by her beauty while Kriya rambles on about whether or not she looks good. He kisses her on the forehead and the two share an eyelock. Papa Singhania comes to the door and is rather surprised to see Kriya's avatar. She first greets him with a "Yo uncle, what's up? All cool?"; but then bows down in a namaste and touches his feet after Rey nudges her. He signals to his father with his eyes that he's pranking her and Papa Singhania reluctantly agrees. After Kriya comes in, Papa Singhania goes on about how he's happy that she picked Rey over dance since he'd prefer his DIL to be a housewife, who'd wake up at 5 and supervise all the housework. He also asks her to put on some weight so that it would be good for the kids. Rey falls off the sofa laughing and keeps informing the gang about what's happening, and they all are having a good laugh about it as well. However, Papa Singhania and Rey notice that Kriya's overwhelmed and in tears, which is when Papa Singhania twists Rey's ears and tells Kriya that it was a prank. She chases Rey around the house and whacks him, after which Papa Singhania gives them his blessings and a few wise words on relationships and trust. While they're happily talking, Papa Singhania gets a mail from the authorities of St Louis who've asked him to come to school regarding the hacking incident. He informs the duo, who're upset but he understands them. He asks them to go out and enjoy, to which they agree.

In the car, Kriya is a bit annoyed about the prank but Rey pulls her into a hug and they share a few cute moments. She then asks him to take her out for ice cream.

On the other side, Sharon's mom and Swayam's dad are berating them on the phone about the incident, while they try to pacify them. Same goes for Simmi's mother and Vicky's dad. As everyone gets off the phone with their parents, they're all worried about the outcome of the same. Sharon then tells Swayam that she is really not interested in going for the wedding cause she'll miss him a lot, to which he replies that every time she misses him, all she has to do is close her eyes and he'll be there. Sharon then replies that she doesn't need to close her eyes to see him as he's always in her heart. He laughs at her sudden romantic demeanor and asks her to try talking to her parents about the two of them. This makes Sharon think that it is a good occasion for her to bring up the topic and she agrees to go for the wedding. Sharon then replies that she'll miss him a lot, and Swayam embraces her tightly and repeats the same. Sharon's a bit awkward about the hug since they're in the middle of the cafeteria but he repeats her "Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya" line and pulls her back into a hug, and this time, Sharon doesn't pull away. Episode ends.

Precap: Sharon comes down in an Indian outfit, and it is presumably what she is going to wear for the wedding. Swayam is blown over on seeing her, and she pulls her hair in front and asks him to tie her dori. They share an intimate moment while tying the dori as Swayam kisses her nape and the two move in for a kiss. A Saibo song sequence.
