Don't Worry Be CRANKY: Richa Aneja and Mini Mathur Indian Idol 3 has a very haughty contestant called Richa Aneja. In the episode which will be telecast today, Richa behaved very indifferent with her allotted partner Prashant Tamang and later demanded a change of partners. Prashant was shocked by her behaviour and tried talking to her about it, and later judges Javed Akhtar and Alisha Chinai too came in to talk to Richa. Even anchor Mini Mathur got into the act, but Richa did not agree to rehearse with Prashant! Later, Richa was heard telling her friends and relatives on the set, "I'd never heard Prashant sing, so I was quite apprehensive to be paired with him as this could affect my performance. Even during rehearsals he was never on time. He made me wait for one and half hour that day. This made me very uncomfortable and I was very irritated with him." The issue was resolved only when Richa's father explained things to his daughter. Says Mini, "Richa is only 17 years old and is the baby of the show, but she definitely has an actress inside her! She has learnt singing since the time she was six years old and feels she knows it all. At the same time, she is very sweet and one always feels like hugging her. She did a lot of nakhras that day and bechara Prashant was at the receiving end, but we cannot bend rules for any contestant." Thankfully, both Richa and Prashant have gotten through this round but more fireworks are certainly in store. ... looks like SONY will keep cashing on Richa and Prashant story for little longer... now that they both are selected in top 28... looks like there will be some more firework ahead... hope Richa will learn to adjust and be more mature...

yep definatly..but i hope they patch up..they wud sound good together..bof very good singers

Awww man .. that sucks for her .. She better get her act together and leave all the unwanted attitude aside .. At least for the sake of Channel .. Coz they are just gonna dig deep in to the matter over and over ...

I hope things get okay between them ...

She is 17yrs ... But that is no reason for her not to sing with a partner whom she has heard sing before ... ... Anyways, I wish her luck !

By the way , how old is she actually ..The entire thread about Richa gave me impression that she is either 15 or 16 or somewhere between the 2 ..

Here it says , she is 17 😕 ...Last year Neha was 16 , so Richa is not Bachhi then....

Well, she is one heck of a singer but if she remains so full of herself , then her performance will get affected....Looks like this week Prashant went away with all the praises....

I hope this incident teaches her a lesson because I want to see her go far ....

She is 16 .. at least that's what the TV showed ... 16year olds are not bacchay .. i agree with you on that one ...

She is undoubtedly a very nice singer ... but you have to be more than that to survive in a contest like this ..

ppl, like all of us, do make first impressions about others.. so give her dis benifit of doubt. Even i wish she refrains from behaving like a spoilt brat.. but this is all the doing of sony also to highlight this aspect of her.

Yeah Gowthy .. we've read it .. i know that she is not the only one at fault .. but then when you only have a day to rehearse and present, you can't waste MORE time in fussing about why he was late and i dun know what kinda singer he is ...

You know what made me think she actually has attitude .. when she was shown rehearsing with this other guy in the same room .. and sitting with him on the bed .. when she initially had apprehensions going in to a strangers room ...
