Which Bollywood Actress can play Aaliya in BI?!

With so many male Bollywood heroes making their presence felt on the small screen, we wonder if the B-town beauties too plan to join the brigade...That's when we at Bollywoodlife thought of listing the heroines we wish to see on the small screen

With changing times of the entertainment industry, television is no smaller than the big parda. Interestingly, many TV actors like Shahrukh Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ayushmann Khurrana have moved to the big screen and have made a strong foothold for themselves. While this transfer from small to big screen is generic, in the past decade our Bollywood heroes have also made a successful shift from the films to television. Amitabh Bachchan gained his lost popularity from the famous quiz TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati. While Big B ruled the charts even here, Akshay Kumar made a daring entry in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi seasons 1, 2 and 4. Salman Khan has also been the most favorite host on Bigg Boss by far.

With so many famous transfers from one medium to other, we thought if we had to pick someone from our B-town beauties to play the character of Aaliya (Preetika Rao) in Beintehaa a hit show on colors, which Bollywood heroine will suit the role best?

Deepika Padukone: Considering her image post films like Cocktail and Race 2, it's high time Dippy plays a role like Aaliya which is a little unconventional and simple. It will be interesting to see the leggy lass go all desi for the show. Right peeps?

Katrnia Kaif: In Dhoom:3, Jr RK's alleged girlfriend was essaying the role of a bold and beautiful babe. Her name in the film was Aaliya. Since the Raajneeti actor has already played a modern Aaliya, how about giving a try to our desi girl in Beintehaa. Maybe this can even help her change her bold and sassy image.

Sonakshi Sinha: If Sona decides to take up this role, we believe it should be a cakewalk for the actor considering she has already essayed a similar character in Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara. We are sure the Lootera actor's simple yet feisty looks will do justice to Aaliya's character. After all, the character of Aaliya is of a housewife and apparently Kareena Kapoor Khan has already tagged the Rowdy Rathore actor as a suitable housewife.

Alia Bhatt: Remember the Beintehaa episode where Zain (Harshad Arora) in his sleep said Aaliya...I love you.' Apparently the female lead in the show though it was for her, but she was in for a shock when Zain again said I love you Alia... Bhatt.' With so much of love being showered on Ms Bhatt, Harshad would probably be the most excited if Alia Bhatt could play his love interest in the show.
