Part 8
Unknowingly,Arnav just kept staring at Khushi's soul resting on the couch.He glanced back at her body just to make sure she was breathing and was safe.He stood up and picked Khushi's soul up in his arms.He walked to her body 'Why can't Khushi just go inside her own body?' he wondered.He was about to place her inside the body when he was jerked back by an unknown source.He widened his eyes.Arnav tried again but failed miserably feeling that push again "And now I have my answer" he muttered.Arnav put her back on the couch when she suddenly woke up.
Khushi's eyes fluttered open.She gathered her surroundings.At first,confusion clouded her eyes but soon was replaced by realization.She looked at Arnav "Hey" she whispered.
"Hey" Arnav whispered back.He moved closer towards her and caressed her cool soft cheek with the back of his hand "How do you feel?"
"I am okay" she said as she struggled to sit up.Arnav held her shoulders and helped her sit up "Thanks" Khushi said when she was comfortable.
Arnav nodded.He opened his mouth to speak when suddenly there was a knock on the door,interupting him "Come in" Arnav said.
A few men came in with a few nurses "Hello ASR.You called.We were sent here to protect a woman I think" said one of the men.
Arnav nodded while Khushi looked at him confused "Yes" agreed Arnav.He pointed at Khushi's body "She needs protection.I don't trust any of the nurses or doctors here so if you feel any sort of suspicion feel free to call me"
The men and nurses nodded.Khushi stared at Arnav "This wasn't needed" She said out loud knowing well the staff wouldn't be able to hear her.
"It was totally needed" Arnav said looking at the staff and glancing at Khushi just to show her he was talking to her.Khushi shook her head and opened her mouth to say something but Arnav abruptly stood up.He walked up to the staff "I want no mistake" he said firmly.
They nodded.Arnav left with a following Khushi behind him.

"Well I have learnt one thing about you today" Arnav announced as he leaned against the hospital walls.
"And what is that?" Khushi asked.
"Whatever happens to your body happens to you"
Khushi sighed and nodded "Yeah" she agreed.
"How many times had these kinds of things happened before?"
Khushi shrugged "Just a few times I guess and that too only when Milan injected that injection into my skin?"
"What's in it?"
"I don't know.I never got the chance to find out"
Arnav nodded.He asked "Well let's first get your evidence.So where did you and Milan get engaged?"
"In the staff room"
"Of this hospital?" Khushi nodded.Arnav smiled "Wow.So there are video cameras there,right?" Khushi nodded "Then that just makes our work easier"

Arnav and Khushi went to the staff room and it was deserted.Khushi told Arnav where the video camera was located.He found the camera but there was no memory card in it "It's empty" he said.
"There's another one in that corner behind that plant" Khushi informed.
Arnav followed her instructions and found the camera.The memory card was inside but it only showed the previous day's actions.Surprisingly it also showed how Milan sneaked into the staff room and stole the memory card from the video camera "Why didn't he take this one?" Arnav wondered out loud.
"He doesn't know about this one" Khushi informed "He wasn't here that day when it was installed and informed to everybody"
Arnav nodded "Well now we have to get that card from him" he told Khushi 'He's already a step ahead of me' Arnav thought to himself.
"Now what do we do?" Khushi asked him.
"We'll have to go to his cabin and check if he left it there"
"What if he is there?"
"I have a good idea what to do then" Arnav smirked.

Arnav and Khushi sneaked into Milan's deserted cabin.Khushi let out a breath of relief knowing Arnav wouldn't be caught.Arnav already began hunting through Milan's drawers while Khushi stood there helplessly.He looked at her "Are you going to help me?"
"I am a soul remember.I can barely open your car door" she reminded him.
Arnav nodded "Forgot" he mumbled as he continued his hunt.Khushi helped him by looking at places she didn't have to open.
Suddenly the door creaked open.It was Milan.He widened his eyes seeing Arnav "What the hell do you think you are doing here?"
"I am looking for the card" Arnav spoked the clear truth.
"What card" Milan spoke innocently.
"The memory card" Arnav stated.
"How about security" Milan offered "SECURITY!" he shouted.
The security came running in and another tall man followed.He was the owner of the hospital "What's going on here?" he asked.
Milan pointed at Arnav "He broke into my office"
"Is this true?" The main doctor asked raising an eyebrow.
"He stole the memory card of one of your video cameras" Arnav said pointing at Milan.
"What proof do you have?" said Milan.
Arnav took out the memory card he had and played it into a video camera that came into his reach and showed it to the main doctor.The main doctor shook his head after watching and looked at Milan "This is unacceptable behaviour.I am afraid I will have to suspend you for a few weeks" he brought out his hand "Keys to your office please"
Milan clenched and unclenched his jaw to control his anger and angrily handed over his keys to the doctor.On his way out he glared at Arnav "I'll get you"
He was about to leave but the doctor stood in his way with a stern look on his face "I also need the memory card which you stole"
Milan grumbled and took the memory card from his pocket and gave it to the doctor.Glaring one last final time at Arnav he left.
"I have to lock his cabin" said the head doctor.
Arnav nodded and exited the room.He watched as the doctor locked the cabin and shoved the memory card into his pocket.He left.Arnav sighed and looked at Khushi "Now I am guessing we have to go after him"
Khushi gave a grin and nodded.Arnav groaned face palming his forehead.
