Priyanka replaces Madhuri

Priyanka Chopra replaces Madhuri to be Saroj Khan's new 'Dhak Dhak' gal.

There is no denying that Saroj Khan has played a vital role in Madhuri Dixit's success; Sarojji's "Ek Do Teen", "Dhak Dhak" and "Choli Ke Peeche" are landmarks in Madhuri's career.

In fact, "Ek Do Teen" was the song responsible to bring Madhuri in the main league and was also one the main factors behind the success of 'Tezaab'. So when Saroj Khan is ready to take her plunge as a director, everyone was almost sure that she would opt for Madhuri in the lead especially now that Madz is back in Bollywood but, to everyone's surprise Saroj is planning to cast Priyanka Chopra instead and that made us dig a little more to get the real scoop.

'Aaja Naachley' is Madhuri's comeback movie and Saroj Khan was all excited to choreograph Madhuri for her comeback project especially because the movie is all about dance but, Yash Chopra opted for Vaibhavi Merchant over Saroj Khan and surprisingly Madhuri didn't insist on Saroj Khan either and settled for Vaibhavi.

This news was quite a shock for Saroj Khan and to settle scores with Madz, she decided to cast Priyanka Chopra in her directorial debut and showed the door to Madz as she asked her to go "Ek Do Teen."
