No this is not about Ahil righting all the wrongs he did to Sanam. Neither is this about Billi Rani. It is about what I think Qh2 is about based on Qh1 and what is shown so far.

To begin - what went wrong with QH1? A lot and each of us have a long list of things that should have happened to keep the story strong. Here are a few from my perspective

Not sticking to the main synopsis - Synopsis said that Asad will be engaged to a wolf in a sheep's cloak i.e. Tannu. And ZoYaan would marry and divorce leading to the theme of Halala.
#1 did not happen because I felt AsYa were established too soon.
Also, MaBurt was not established soon enough to pave way for a future ZoYaan.
Too much focus on the negatives ie. Billi and Razia.
Not explaining some of the back stories till it was too late and left the audience confused amongst other things.

Lets just start with these for the time being. I am seeing some parallelism going on between the two seasons and how the CVs may be working on not making the same mistakes again.

No synopsis was given for this second season. However with what little we have seen so far I feel that AsYa = SaHil and Ayaan = Rehaan for this season. Tannu = Anwar for the time being but there is a good chance Rehaan will become Tannu in the future or if the plan was to turn Ayaan negative he remains just that.
CVs have shown us glimpses of SaHil, but are doing their best to not keep them under the same roof for too long thus making their scenes rare and not the central story.
Next up in my opinion is Rehaan and Sanam bonding. In the big bad world of Bhopal the only good person who has helped her (just a little) is Rehaan. So chances are they will become friends.
Negatives have not been introduced yet. In QH1, Razia was on the screen since day 1 doing her negative ranting.
Back stories have been explained via third parties. Its good to know Ahil is not a kitten and there are reasons for him being the way he is. Remember we waited for Rashid's story and never got it???

So my theory basically is that is there a chance of revisitng Halala this season with Rehaan and SaHil? Say Rehaan and Sanam become friends and for some strange reason the platonic friendship turns into marrige.

Rehaan could then be shown as the evil kitten or falling for Seher or some other bringing in the Divorce. Just him being kitten is reason enough for Sanam to dump him. And then the real SaHil story beings?

I don't know if it makes sense, but I am definitely noticing the parallels so thought of sharing. Do share ur thoughts.

I know its too soon to be making guesses but just wanted to throw this out there.

They can show Halala track without making Rehan negative too.. 😔 i don want him negative! Good post Rivs! This can also make way for much hyped brither clash between Rehan-SaHil!

In season 1 Ayaan was stronger but here we hardly see cameo by Rehan that too only Ahil Bhai is his dialogue though i love it

Anwar, i guess he will have no role to play in the story! He is over once Sanam take revenge if CV diesnt forget him...

Rivs, you made a post.🤗 After what seems like ages.

Coming to the post - title - I guess this is what Gul & Co. must've decided when they decided to begin on a clean slate. Number the wrongs in season 2 and lets not make the same mistakes at least. Whether they will right the wrongs, time will tell.

Saahil have been set as OTP from 1st episode itself. I thought Anwar was the triangle, but within a week, it was squashed. Maybe Rehaan is the third line of the angle. And he may help Sanam. But I still think, Rehaan's would be one sided love and Saahil love story would begin very soon. Ideal way for Rehaan to turn negative, if he is the kitten.

Whatever the angle, but its Saahil who would end up getting married for sure - whether for love or hate, depends on CVs.

I have a feeling Dilshad may spill the truth with death staring her. Sanam may find out that Ahil is billi's son and may play up Ahil for hate marriage to destroy him and take back what is rightfully hers.

Ahil meanwhile may find out that his ammi/abbu have left a will with a spouse clause.

Coming to think of it - we never got proper closure to anything in QH1. No backstory, no ayaan, no happy ending, no invalidating of zoyaan, no symbolisms took effect. Hope QH2 scores on all the points you mentioned and more.

Amazing Post Rivs..- leaving aside all my fangirl heart for Rehan and Sanam - I've always felt that the Rehan and Sanam's equation would be like Marbut. It might not go the Zoyyan way (once bitten, twice shy) and not that they would marry or anything but there would definitely be a point where their feelings for each other would be conflicted.. ..But no doubt, the CVs have set SaHil has OTPs and that they have been very sure about from the start of season 2.

Nikita_Smith brought out a very interesting scenario in another post where she mentioned that if Rehan were to fall in love with Sanam and Sanam were to know he's Billi's son and he's dumped, it's some sort of Karmic retribution for Tanveer as her son has fell in love with AsYa's daughter and to the very girl who looks exactly like her mother. Her son would probably face the same situation like her though her's was lust to begin with and till the end she never got Asad.

It's true QH2 doesn't have a synopsis but their storytelling is very predictable and probably the CVs have brought in all the flavors of their other shows to this leap..

Oh and I also felt that if Anwar had strong acting skills, he might have been part of the love triangle instead of Rehan. I think this part got changed because when they introduced Rehan and Haaya, I thought they were parallel OTPs like Ayaan and Humeria... But if Rehan is actually Billi's son, then the equation between Haaya and Rehan are step siblings. So, I presume there was a change there due to Anwar's acting caliber. (Just my opinion though).

And Cvs have made sure that Ahil's characterization is somewhat different from all the other of Gul's heros - so that's also something different from QH1.

But oh well, these are all just opinions and I guess we need to wait it out.. The other characters have been annoying so I don't really want to bother if they are on screen anot... I have a feeling everyone in Ahil's house are of negative character except Latiff and Ahil himself.

This is indeed a righting of a wrong...Let's just hope it works out well!

I really am in need of some intense story drama twist and yes romance.

I feel that halala will not be touched this time. They will not touch the OTP as they have learnt from QH1.

Wow Rivs a post after a long time...

and awesome thoughts too 😃

Gul and co r trying to revive the show with some of their already tested and successful formulas , it works or not only time will tell...
Saahil have been established as the OTP, Anwar I guess was suppose to be the 3rd angle but that track got changed ...

Rehaan and Sanam haven't met each other face to face yet, but he has helped her indirectly , we might have a friendship track here ...
till now Rehaan hasn't even been seen properly on the show, so we have to see how his role goes..

A wonderful post dear.

I was actually waiting for zoyaan-halala track for QH1, as it was a really insightful topic to show regarding muslim culture, which has never been portrayed before. But well AsYa were developed too early, and all the hug catch throw uchalo scenes made the show AsYa centric. The mistake gul made was to show AsYa in the same roof, leaving no room for zoya to interact with ayaan.

With QH2, the story is going good but there needs to be just little slow pace for SaHil to develop. The halala track can be well set and the tanveer angle needs to have a good flow unlike rashid gafur thing which was left till the show lost its essence.

The other thing about qh1 and qh2 is that the character traits are not similar, asad was the larger then life unreal persona while ahil is like any other spoilt brat. And zoya-sanam, its like similar yet different.

Hope this time gul maintains the pace of the show and doesnt stretch the past issue till qh3 to start.
