I remember when I was shifting to Mumbai, my mom was happy that I was going to pursue my dream career but she was also upset that I was going away from home in Chandigarh, for the first time, to a big city like Mumbai. But she handled the situation well so as not to make me feel uncomfortable. In the initial days I was struggling, going from audition to audition or even regarding money, my mom, who was working in customs, actually transferred herself to Mumbai and she made everything easy for me. She got a customs house and made sure I got to eat home food whenever I returned home. She is such a sweetheart.
