tfs bui i cant understand if deepika quit the show and stop shooting from 10 to 15 days how she shoot on 3 may is she do all thing for her role will develop more and guys u see that from last 2 weeks her scenes was muvch more then others but what use trp loosing from 2 weeks if ssk creative think they maintain popularity without rosid trp shows its status luv and miss u rosid

i think dipika may leave the show soon as just nw i read the news in deccan chronicle about dipika leaving the show...

here is the news:

Mumbai: It's perhaps a measure of her popularity that actress Deepika Samson is known by her onscreen character's name, Simar. But there's some sad news for fans of her show, Sasural Simar Ka. After three years of essaying the lead character, Deepika has finally decided to quit the show. Sources from the sets tell us that Aasiya Kazi (of Bandini fame) is being considered as Deepika's replacement.

"There were some creative differences since a long time," Deepika admitted to us, when we asked her why she decided to take this step. "After three years, I wouldn't walk out of the show over a small tiff. I felt that my character was starting to be too mundane. But again, that's my perception and the production house and audience may have different ideas."

Deepika added that her contract had expired on April 9, but she continued to work for a month more, to complete as many episodes as possible. "I didn't want to leave the show in the middle because I respect my work and I am grateful to the production house for offering me the landmark role of my career. Simar gave me my identity in this industry and I can never deny that," Deepika said.

There were rumours that Deepika quit the show due to lack of screen space. However, the actress said this was incorrect. "I share a beautiful bond with everyone on the sets. I have never questioned the screen space my co-stars get," she said. Persistent reports also claimed that Deepika wanted to leave the show ever since her co-star Shoaib Ibrahim (who she was rumoured to be dating) quit. "If it was something like that then why would I wait so long? I would have quit with Shoaib," Deepika pointed out.

Deepika refused to name which actress she'd like to see take on her role. "I have lived the character of Simar and not created it," she said.
