Greek and Latin

"I bet you can't figure THIS out," Sanyukta said, handing over the piece of paper to Randhir.

"Of course I can. I am Randhir Singh Shekawat. Your silly tasks can never get the better of me Farzi," Randhir told her and strode off to the library, searching for the translation.

"Latin. This girl is mad if she thinks I can't figure this out. Google is all that is needed and she think I, not even that Loser, but I won't figure it out. Sanyukta Agarwal, you are in for a rude shock," he muttered as he searched.

'I love you' the translation read. He checked the other options as well to see whether he was just imagining things but to his surprise, he wasn't.

He turned the chair around to go and confront Sanyukta about the message when he found her on her knees, a single rose in her outstretched arm.

"How long have you been sitting here-," he began when she hit him lightly on his knee and stopped him.

"I really hated you from the deepest bottoms of my heart Randhir, I really did. But those idiotic, yet gorgeous eyes of yours tugged at my heart strings, eventually pulling the brain along. I've finally found love, but with an MCP like you. It's up to you whether you want to accept it or not," Sanyukta told him and stood up, dusting her knees.

"Well, well, well, so Sanyukta Agarwal has fallen for me. I knew this would happen someday. Silly girl," he said, smirking.

"Hold your horses Randhir. You really think I couldn't figure out your message Mr. I-think-I'm-the-only-smart-one-but-I'm-not. Stop shoving that ego of yours in my face because I know you love me too," she said, teasing him.

"Now Farzi, you don't want a repeat of the last incident at the lab, do you?" he asked her, indicating towards the kiss they had shared.

She leaned in closer to his ear and whispered, "Maybe I do Randhir. Maybe I just do," leaving him awestruck. As she walked away laughing, Randhir found a lovestruck smile coming up on his face.
