The promos of Vikram Bhatt's Speed, staring Urmila Matondkar, Aftab Shivdasani and Zayed Khan, are on air and one look at the teaser and it's apparent that Speed is a rip-off of the 2004 release, Cellular.

The promo starts with the line: 'This story is about one phone call that never should have been made' and shows a harrowed Urmila trapped in some place.

The teaser goes on to show Zayed answering the call made by Urmila. Aftab is cast in the role of the baddie who is responsible for putting Urmila in trouble.

However, producer Harry Baweja laughs off similarities between Speed and Cellular. "I haven't watched Cellular and a 30-second promo cannot give you any information about the film.

Let Speed release in June and then you can decided if it reminds you of King Kong or Lord of the Rings or any other film you have watched. I have heard people talking about the alleged similarities, but I can assure you it's not true."

Plot of Cellular

A young man (Chris Evans) receives a call on his cell phone from a woman (Kim Basinger) claiming she's been kidnapped and that she's going to be killed along with her husband and son, who the kidnappers have gone after next.

The catch? She doesn't know where she is and the person who she's made the call to doesn't know if his phone battery will last through the ordeal!

Cellular was a nice movie 👏
really good movie
but i dont' think that they will be able to copy Hollywood
besides, i dont' like Zyed and Urmila ..
so yeah
