Avantika To Express Her Desire To Get Married To Shaurya In Ek Hasina Thi
In Star Plus Ek Hasina Thi this week, Sakshi is confident that Durga is trying to rake up the past, but Shaurya defends Durga saying that meeting Bagchi was only a coincidence. Sakshi warns Shaurya to stay away from Bagchi and begs Rajnath to call off the project but he dismisses her fears. Shaurya on the other hand reminisces Nitya, his driver's daughter, and remembers how like Durga, she was also a big challenge for him. It is revealed that Durga is none other than Nitya herself who due to extenuating circumstances had to change her identity. She is back to seek justice and make the Goenkas pay for their atrocities on her sister Payal.Shaurya asks his aunt Suchitra indirectly for ways to impress Durga. Suchitra understands what he is trying to get at and ecstatically relays the news of Shaurya being in love with Durga to Sakshi.

The commissioner had taken money from the Goenkas and had tampered with the evidence that could implicate Shaurya in Payal's rape case. Knowing that Avantika needs to see the true face of Shaurya, the commissioner agrees for a formal meeting with the Goenkas where Shaurya denies that he ever loved Avantika. On seeing the Commissioner and his daughter over wrought with emotion, Durga remembers how smugly the Commissioner had told Nitya that no tragedy would ever touch his daughter.Avantika decides to end her life but is saved in the nick of time by an anonymous letter exposing how a monster like Shaurya was created by the help of powerful people like the Commissioner. Unaware that Durga is the one who has sent her the letter, Avantika confronts her father who admits that he had been bribed by the Goenkas to save Shaurya. The Goenkas use their connections to have the Commissioner transferred. Durga watches as another one of her targets bites the dust.
