The infamous waseem sabir interview!!! My take on it

Me: story shud b package which has good mix of emotion, drama, romance, laughs, etc. it can't b one way that u only show romance fr 2 weeks (ashlok patch up), then 1 week drama(jyothi missing), leaps of 6 months, 2 months as and when u pls, get someone into show just bcos guest room is free(aditi , jaya, Abhay) . Repetitive scenes ( mirror and water romance) which many believe was in CB of course will make people to compare it with season 1 and CB too..what a director- he himself feels romance is stupid wah wah!!! He himself believes what he s creating is stupid...not use dupes?? Really Niranjan with family is mostly shot by dupe...kaka is missing in most f family ocassions...servant, office assistant keeps changing...kirloskar residence keeps changing...astha s family was missing for donno now long!!!

We work 12 bloody hours a day 30 days a month, giving everything to make this show and at times the sh** we get from followers is seriously disheartening... be it actors writers creatives ... best part is fans comment on EDITING was bad... arrre how much do u know about editing n how much do u know about how the scene was shot...

Me: you just focus on shit and there r so many praising u , u don't even RT or reply...u have a busy schedule but if u had the time to read so much shit then I m sure u wud have had time to read the good praises too...why isn't that being appreciated...why focusing only on fans posting -ve comments? If u r seeing the final edit in the editing room, u would know how in most scenes the lead isn't even looking into each other's eyes but v have been happy and content with the chemistry we got.

Me: there's lot happening in people s lives...that's why there s something called Entertainment which s games, movies, tv...people come to these sources to get their mind off so many stressful things in lives, to enjoy and seek solace...singles enjoy chemistry somewhere to fill that empty space in their lives...if u can't entertain why even have a show??

Someone commented the IF rating have fallen down because of our story n episodes, I would like to tell them that we rated better then, so IF standing does not bother us..
Diya baati is no 1 rated show ... where does it stand on the forums... so lets not talk about all that ...
we r here to entertain u all... n if you can't stop watching but don't get abusive, we r not paid by the fans to take such sh**...

The problem is only one that... they wanna c chemistry ... sexy stuff ... hot scenes ... illogical scenes will also do they should have sexiness hotness ... *bleep* story *bleep* characters and their graphs...
And I have a very strong belief that 70% of the fans r online viewers which do not get us ratings...commenting on personal lives of actors ... infact commenting on everything ... y isnt her make up this... y her sarees r better than others... seriously all this gets too much... they should understand all this rift creates problems for actors also cuz they start doubting things...

Me: we r not sleazy or sex deprived ppl that we want sexy stuff...when fans say ashlok scenes they mean good scenes between leads ...after all why r they called leads...they lead the show and represent it else they would not b on the montage...if u remember earlier serials like kyunki saas etc had entire cast on montage...but now all shows just have main leads facing towards each other or away from each other...that means u need them to run ur damn show!! Madhubala runs bcos f Vivian drashti and that's why they got him back...ipk season1 closed bcos f barun sobti quitting, it's leads popularity which contributes mainly to show and if u can't show them in 5 min of entire 22 min, donno how u intend to sell ur show!!!

Long post and I know there r many waseem fans here but sorry I felt it was the most confused interview from a director with good potential primarily arising from frustration and stress and due to fact that his bacchas and behanas in the show get nasty comments on twitter ...what he needs to understand that once anything is on public forum youtube, twitter, etc there r bound to b negative as we'll as positive comments...if u don't like it then u stay out of it ...bcos u can't control bad ppl in world...shit happens everywhere and this is nothing !!!!

It's crazy that they can get away with it. The advertisers/channel should tell these production house that they need to keep their ppl in line cause if we don't watch the shows that means no product sales and it means no revenue from ads for the channels.

Entire fandom should not be blamed if few ppl have been nasty n indecent and commenting on actor's personal lyf..there r ppl who praise actors/ show n also give constructive criticism..aren't they r at loss and being blamed for no fault of their own..

Having said that, I do not ,for a minute,support d indecent comments made on actors n their personal life..v also should b in our limits while giving our feedback.

I m upset to have all this negativity surrounding our show..I never wanted this show to b infamous for such nasty fights..
