Honestly lost interest during aditi track. But compared to current track aditi wss much better as we could see shlok concern for astha. Writers spoiled a wondrrful track that it could have been.
also, wondering why did sp come out with new promo after swati death? (The one with boat n roses) sp made a fool of us by such promo and givig a crap track after that 😡

Chunnu munnu is Misti's invention from CB2 days. CB2 was good (well if you don't count how many times the plot changed within first six months) for about 6 months. Then they got this Aditi type character. The hero was dumbed down but at least the leads were not unlikeable as this third wheel character was the irritating one. So from that time onwards, Misti started calling them chunnu munnu. We used to have more fun writing about chunnu munnu and their innovative writing than the actual story.

I was hoping to jump in to view Niranjan Nakab Nikalo episodes.. but if I couldn't stand Astha's before.. I don't think I can now... I was hoping to get Shlok/Anjali/Niranjan triangle... where Shlok is torn by his loyalty to father... vs accepting the reality regarding mother.. his self-disgust at being so blind etc... I don't think it is going that route... instead of genuine human emotions.. it will be some crappy Astha forgiving Niranjan... and instead of the big Gannapathi Babba at the entrance of Anjali Nivas.. it will be Devi Astha giving her blessing to the Kirloskar/Agnihotri clan...

No, Astha was very mild in those episodes where you found her irritating. And she was not dominating the show. Now she is every scene and she is the smartest person in the show. So you can imagine how others character would fare if she has to be made the smartest. And you would not be able to tolerate her.

Yes, I was hoping too for the Shlok/Anjali/Niranjan triangle as these are the most interesting characters. But now Niranjan has disappeared and Shlok is barely there. Anjali is slowly turning into Astha's devotee and cannot take even one step forward without Astha leading her.

And I fully expect a lot of preaching for Niranjan and then him getting reformed by Devi Astha. In all the mythologies, the devi slays the demon and here she would reform him. Anjali and Shlok would become even greater devotees and even Niranjan would change from a sinner to a devotee.

From the beginning in order of sequence of conversion to Astha cult:

Shisya #1: Ajju - she is the culprit who seeded this cult idea in Astha's brain 😡 Yes, she was the main one. But now others are following her.

Shisya#2: Avdhoot.. really should have borrowed the stick from NA - Why would he borrow the stick. he thinks that Astha is perfect and can do no wrong. Even he cannot do any wrong. He has forgotten the papers he signed illegally. Nothing is illegal as it was all for Devi Astha's school.

Shisya#3: The missing Best friend.. You know during the kidnapping track, Shlokie was calling all her friends. And Devi Astha is so great that she still has friends though she did not even invite her best friend in the wedding.
Shisya#4 (as a group): The Ashram Ladies Oh yes those too. And the missing grandparents of Shlokie. Astha never bothered to find out about them. And when she finds them, she would blast them for not trusting her when she invited them to her wedding against everyone's wishes.
Shisya#5: That useless Chachaji... forget his name - Vinayak. He is already a devotee of Astha.
Shisya#6: Kalindi (caved around marriage time) - She is also a devotee. She apologized to Astha in yesterday's scene for not telling her about Jyoti.
Shisya#7: Varad - He was her devotee from a long time ago.
Shisya#8: Kavya... too young, easily misled. She has already gone to Astha camp.
Shisya#9: Shlok - He is a yes man and has locked his brains in some locker. Now he only relies on Astha for any brain work. He has also stopped going to the office. Wish I have a job like that where I could go to office whenever I wanted or do the projects if I felt like doing them.
Shisya#10: Jyothi (who was first Shlok or Jyothi ??) - I think Jyoti became AStha's devotee before shlok.
Shisya in waiting to convert shortly: Anjali, Niranjan.. Anjali is half way there. Niranjan is the last man standing. I am hoping that he would not reform and send Astha away. Maybe then Shlokie can find his brains back.

Hey, never say never.. the next up could be Abhay & Sulabha.. then the task is complete for this Avatar of Devi.. deed is done.. Om Jai Astha... curtains for the serial...

Misti had expressed some reservation about the promo and now I can see why. I am amazed that so many viewers can see same type of inconsistencies, but the CVs who created these characters cannot do so. Do they live in some bubble world where they cannot see anything other than what they want to see.

1 for Shlockie opening his mouth today. I was so tired of seeing the love-struck puppy that I will take this 😉 besides I quite liked how Shlockie's emotions played out in that scene , happiness on knowing that Jyothi called , wishing for her return , sense prevailing and finally tackling Abhay. I liked the half -face visuals too!😊

1 for Anjali.I liked her emotions when Jyothi called, her disguised warning. But more than that today I felt she is manipulating the situation. In all probability I am wrong. Anjali knows Shlock is the only one who can tackle Niranjan. She is also aware of Aastha's influence on him. So I get this feeling Anjali is utilizing Aastha to get Shlock geared up! Obviously she is smart enough (like us😆😆) to know Aastha by herself can pretty much achieve almost nothing😉 Chitra they can turn this around by showing that NA let Astha see him beating Anjali because he knew that Astha will react and then he can take steps...and now Anjali deciding to use Astha as a counter measure. But I doubt it...I wish that they do but I am not going to hold on to it. Astha's charcterization does not have the depth to handle all this on her own. If they show her being successful on her own and others as mute then it is artificial glorification. If they had planned this then they should have shown some depth in her characterization from the beginning. I know that people mature and grow up but that does not mean that their nature undergoes a 180 degree change.

I hope the Mahila Morcha leader is at some point shown to be reprimanded for her many follies.*Fingers crossed*😆😆 Today I am not so pissed with her , save for her arm pat. I find that sooo un-hot😊

Hopefully the Bada khiladi will enter the Maidaan soon , missing him!🤢🤢

What can I say? you and chunnu munnu ? Remember we used to tell you during CB1 and CB2 to join the creative team.😆

By the way Angie the term chunnu munnu was given by me (with loads of love and admiration) during CB1. I think it was during pulling the plough episodes. 😉

Duh...how can I forget those plough episodes? That was the time you started posting regularly and I also started posting in your thread more regularly. Before that I was doing it on and off. Now I am becoming nostalgic thinking about those days. We used to have so much fun. But thank God twitter world was not there or it was not that popular. Else we would have got the director coming after us for making fun of chunnu munnu, him and their master piece.

Ok, so like EBP creatives I messed up the time line of chunnu munnu's naming ceremony.😆
