300 soutens pata nahi aur kitne maid competitiors first 3-4 years must have been brutal on herrr
Our real jodha ka life bahut tough raha hoga atleast till salim arrived and she became connosure of all eyes in mughal sulatnat(not her soutens for sure). And imagine her parents and brothers betrayed her trust in them by marrying her to a mughal against her wishes and her husband was a major casannova till he was 35 and even married in his 60s to girls who where 16-20 yr olds. Imagine poor real jodha's plight till salim arrived she must be terribly lonely.
and no matter what people think that jehangir was bad than akbar i think he was better human than akbar or shah jahan. yes he did crimes but that was more becuase he easily trusted friends and family and was influenced by them but majorly other than impalment of his sons army and sikh guru murder he did not mass murder like his father or son or kill family members like them or did many wars or destory temples/other religious places etc. He was not orthodox, fanatic and cruel like majority mughal emperors. And this credit goes to only jodha as had a very big hand in that than akbar in his upbringing.
akbar ko time kahan hoga 300 wives aur sultanat handle karke bacchon ko bhi time de so jodha had major role in parvarishhh
Actually thank God akbar did not have much role warna imagine 300 nur jahans controlling jehangir and mughal sultanat would be destroyed lol he married only 18 wives of which 16 arranged marriages only two love one sahib jamal and one nur jahan both commoners
So all credit to our jodha

At that tyme kings used marry so many women not jst bez of sex...there wr lot of women who lost thr families during wars and some common men were not ready to marry those women so jst to give them some respect and place to live kings used take those women and married.so atleast those wud get a place to live with respect eventhough they didnt get wat they want fm ther husband..bt they were happy that they have chosen otherwise they have to live on roads

i read a book on mughal harem .the women and their living conditions . their conditions are very pathetic . their allowances ,facilities are based on rank .and most importantly closeness to king .

if a lower rank person got sick .she was moved to sick room .and if she dies nobody bothers .
they have no life outside harem . everybody has cocubines even jahangir and shahjahan inspite of their love for their wives .
i also read king never visits a women when she reached age 30 .

Yep i also read two books on mughal harem
only i think ruqaiah, salima and jodha had good life with palaces and luxuries and money and power etc in that harem all others were in bad condition
yep there was no official funeral for these women they would move to sick room and they sent for burial at death king and relatives do not attend funeral poor women atleast they desreve all agra for inimates at their last ritesss
hira bai got lucky she had salim else she also may have had similar funeral, salima was lucky to have rahim and ruqaiah khurram and salim and jodha had her son shah jahan to bury her and mumtaz had shah jahan to bury her properly. They ensured proper funerals and tombs atleast. What about all their other step mothers other akbar's wives and jehangir's wives or shah jahan's other wives??? Who buried them?? Where are their tombs today??? No one knows so you can understand what happened after death to those poor ladies??? No son/daughter means lawaris death for sure. No wonder ruqaiah got desperate for a child in her 50s and adopted khurram. She was scared of a lawaris death may be?? Who knowss??? Its a pretty scaryyy life
King visiting other women after 30 clause was only because it was very risky for women to give birth after 30, pregnancy deaths were very high. The average life span itself was 35-40 in those times. So they did not have visit that does not mean they did not meet and speak or have lunch and dinner or get together etc. Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan would have had breakfast, lunch, dinner with all their wives and kids together and watch music and games etc together and chat and talk have parties etc. But they did not have physical relations after 30 for safety of those women(wives/cocubbines/maids etc) as pregnancy after 30 was life threatening. That was not only rule of mughals but society as whole usually.
