"Asad apki dr se baat hui?" Tanveer followed behind asad with his briefcase.
"Ji, and we have an appointment with him for tomorrow at evening" asad stops and gives dua to her ammi's arm while he take his briefcase back in his hand.
"Per wo to America me honge" tanveer stated confused looking at asad with scrunch brows.
"Yes, he is in america. And we are too going there. Pack your's and dua's bag , we will be leaving for the flight in 3 hours.
Tanveer eyes the wall clock which showed 4. She returned her look on asad and noded her head in yes.
At dr hameed shaikhs clinic, " look mr khan, i have gone through the reports who had faxed me yesterday and have consultate with my senior as well. Dua really has a complications in dna but to know it more we have to check her father history too. So i suggest mr khan you should also go under few test i prescribed to get the correct cure of your daughter." Hameed stops in between and waits for asad to reply. Asad looks as tanveer and than at little dua as he nods his head in yes "dr. Actually" he is about to say something but gets interrupted by tanveer.
"Your mistakening dr.shaikh, he is not my husband, nor dua's father. He is my freind" tanveer clarifies the misunderstanding before it could grow.
"Oh, i am sorry" hameed quickly apologize and with a soft sorry.
"Its ok" tanveer states him back.
"Then you should have come here with your husband, i could have discussed about the tesy with him in better way" hameed states thinking tanveer's hubby have'nt come because he is busy.
"No doctor, i am not married. I am single parents for dua" tanveers lower her eyes but asad's little gesture with his eye makes her confident again.
"Oh. Well! Then it would be a problem for further checks, cant you get her real father here for once. We need his medical history. Its essential for treatment." Hameed request trying to make tanveer understand the limitation of his profession.
"But i-"
"We will get him here doctor hameed.dont you worry with that." Asad cut tanveer further argument with an unsure promise he makes then and there itself.
Tanveer looks at asad in question as her mind repeats only one word,"How?"
"If thats the case then i can fix an appointment for earliest, how about next week monday?" Hameed asks checking on hia diary.
"Yeah! Monday will be fine" asad quickly holds tanveer hand on table to stop her protest before she could say anything.
"Ok fine then monday at 12 i will be ready with all preparation . get her father here and will start the test." Hameed says with a positive aura; " dont worry Ms tanveer, dua will get fine soon."
Tanveer looked at hameed and asad with a nod twitching her lips a little upward, getting up from her seat she thanked doctor before leaving; asad too left the clinic soon after she left , " thanks doctor" he said shaking his hand with hameed.
"No problem" hameed said with sincerty
Asad came out of clinic and found tanveer in surprisingly bad mood infact she is fuming in wrath and muttering abuses under her breathe.
"Tanveer!" Asad asked making tanveer turn to him.
Her eyes had watered and her lips were shape of river about to cry hard.
"Wo shaqs kyu nai chod deta mujhe or meri bachi ko asad. Kyu allah mujhe usi ke pas bhej rahe hai, madad mangne?" Tanveer cried keeping one hand on her face as with other she is holding dua firmly.
"Asad, do you think he will help us , after i had breaked his marriage.she added with a hickups.
"He wont asad, he will never get ready to help me, as it is he dint care about me or dua and now, now he got a good reaso to hold it against me." She wept more looking at dua. By the time dua tok had started crying seeing her mothwr tears, asad pulled dua from tanveer and patted her back to quite her, while simultaneously he gave tanveet a side hug to support her emotionally, as a pillar.
"Baji what are you saying?" Humera mouthed in O;" you are selected for the job?" Her excitement ran higher than anytime she can recollect in her memory.
"Yes i am selected hummy, and this calls for treat" she puched her fist in air "yaay!"
"Of course baji, congratulations! To you. So Tell me, where should we celebrate?" Humera asked with a broad teeth show.
" lets have lunch at pizza hut? Get abu with you too ,if he is free!" She looked at time and then back to the hoarding right in front of her; " i am at street 2 kelvil rufas road, see ypu atound 20 minutes"
"Alright baji, we will be there soon than 20. Thanks" humera ended with a smile,preasing her thumb over disconnect button.
She ran downstairs to gaffur's room with a knock gaffur allowed her to come in.
" abu, baji got this job. Its time to celebrate" she said excitingly clapping her hands in air.
"Oh beta, this is great news. Lets go now!" Gaffur too acted like teen matvhing the anxiety that humera showed him.
"Asad its of no use! They had left bhopal after their truth was reveal in society. Now where we will find them. Ya allah give us some clue please" tanveer prayed allah to help her.
"We can still trace him tanveer, if not from bhopal than from here" he said in serious tone.
"Here? " she asked, " you mean to say from unversity?" She added as she remebered her past love story they had met here in america.
"Yes! From university. There has to be someone who might still have contact with farhaan.we should give it a try." He adds with a smike giving hope to tanveer.
"Na umeede gunah hai, zoya used to corectly say" tanveer eyes fills once again with water but this time it was guilt shown.
