Top 5 Scenes Of The Week: RangRasiya (Colors)

It surely was an eventful week at the RangRasiya camp but the scene that made it to the top 5 Scenes this week is the one where Paro talks about Rudra's past to him and how he has not let go ofit.

This is one topic that will linger between the two for quite a long time and it was interesting to see that Paro started off with it when Rudra was lying in the hospital bed weak, due to the effect of the poisonous laddoo.

Rudra is a self-made man, but that does not mean he doesn't have weaknesses; he does. He is not any less of a human being than she is, but ever since his mom left him, ever since he started carrying the burden of his past which unfortunately he does even today he refuses to show it to the world. Even in this scene the doctor had just informed that there would be slight weakness in Rudra's hand, but inspite of that he refuses to take the help of the nurse or of Paro.

"Kab tak aapka beeta hua kal, aapki aaj ki khusiyo par grahan lagaye rakehga?"

So Paro has deduced that Rudra's bitterness towards life, his inability to express love, happiness, pain etc comes from his past. Does Paro know about Rudra's past, well yes and no. She does know that Rudra's mom left him when he was a young boy but that does not account for her knowing his entire past does it? So Paro only knows a fragment of Rudra's past but that was enough for her to understand that is what is causing Rudra to behave like a Jhallad', when he truly isn't one.

Paro tells Rudra that she has also has seen bad times and how she hasn't allowed it to tear through her present which is exactly the case with Rudra, as his past continues to consume him. Like Paro said Rudra has held his past so tightly with both his hands refusing to let go that he fails to embrace the other good things in life.

After this we see Paro keeping the plate containing the apples on top of Rudra and leave saying "Maare ko jo aapko khilana tha, maine khila diya...ab aapko apni madad khud karni padegi" at a glance she is talking about Rudra eating the apple pieces by himself but since it came after the whole past related talks, it can be symbolic of how Paro will definitely help Rudra to overcome the ghosts of his pasts, but he would have to help himself too...that he would have to let go or what has happened to star life afresh.
