Raju Hirani, Vikram Motwane, Mani Ratnam (Roja and Bombay are epic), Ashu G (Lagaan, Swades and JA only).

And I love Shyam Benegal too. Those old HM comedic films are to die for. Chupke Chupke is one of my favorites.
