Although I knew the story of Barkat will bring a lot of drama and it will change the dynamics of a lot of relationships. I dreaded it at the same time. I honestly wasn't worried about Surraiya or the 2 other chudails..that they'll brainwash Barkat to separate Zaya. The person I was worried about is Usman. And today's episode proved my fear right.
The Usman Abdullah whose guroor and ladla was only Zain, the unconditional love and faith in his bhanji, that's the Usman I loved.
From the start, the show gave the impression that Zain was the last child, therefore the most spoiled and loved. I feared that if not Zain but Barkat is the youngest AND the only girl at that, that she would take that place in Usman's heart. And it did. Proof: He gave 51% of property to her!!!!!!! 51% Who in their right mind gives that when they have two older sons no matter what the reason..she has a bigger share than Zain and Fahad combined!
P.S. that's why I was hoping at the beginning that she was the eldest child😆
And then there's Aaliya, I always thought she was special to Usman because he doesn't have a daughter. Well that went out the window when this whole Barkat thing started. But I always wondered if there comes a situation and Usman would've to choose between Barkat and Aaliya..whose side will he take? The daughter that he just got back after 18 years or the daughter that's been in front of his eyes for the past 18 years. (since he always said that Aliya is his daughter 😊)
