rajat/jalal/shahenshah!

hi everyone!

i was thinking of making a post on my jalal..and here i am talking about ekta's jalal..i did make a couple of posts on akbar the great but never made on my jalal..so here i will try to dissect his current situation with my two cents and would love to read ur views as well!

rajat..first of all i bow to my rajat who has got into the skin of the character and has not lost its charm even after almost a year..usually the actors start looking tired and loosing their charm with length of time especially male telly actors who dream to get into bollywood and are always in search of opportunity...! i do not see a tiring monotonous expression, he is always raising his bar by giving excellent performance in the most difficult scenes be it face off with jodha or maham and as far as DEK precap is concerned i can tell he looks so real and he will nail it to perfection!..i have yet to see such an actor who can enact the same role with such finesse and variety that audience do not get bored with a role that he is been doing for almost a year!👏..has jalal made rajat or rajat made jalal..both seem to be inseparable!

jalal..ekta has shown him as a son, a brother, a husband in four walls of his fort..he cries he laughs he is naughty at times and loves to be loved...we have seen his transition from a ruthless warrior to a human who can love people and demand love in return..here i will only discuss about his current situation..the very first blow he got is from his own ammijaan who he thought loved him more than her own son..but what went wrong?..he is devastated and the worst part is he will have to announce the punishment for his own ammijaan..! ruq on the other hand wants to console him or rather entertain him by playing games because that is what he used to do in olden times but this is a changed jalal..he wants to be with someone he loves, he wants to be with jodha, he does not want to be with his best friend..he wants his love..i felt bad for ruq but sooner or later she will have to understand that he is not her old friend and husband, he is someone who is hurt badly and someone who is in love..the more she will try to hold the sand the more it will slip through her fingers...now should we blame jalal here for ignoring ruq..although i felt bad for ruq i will not blame jalal..he is human after all if he feels at peace by sleeping in jodha's hojra then so be it!

now coming to maham's case, i liked what hamida had to say about maham..although she has done a lot for him he should not forget that he is the shahenshah and also he is the son!..now is this jalal's dilemma that who should he choose..farz ya rishte?...should he give her one chance like he has been giving all his nears and dears or should he punish her because she hurt his love? is her crime that bad? will he think of what she did for him and punish her accordingly?..all these questions will be answered in friday's episode..will he do right or wrong only time will tell but whatever maham did was out of deep hatred for jodha and she wanted to make her son's future secure by not letting jalal be under anyone's influence..and that is why she got BK kicked out!..whatever decision jalal takes i will support him because maham has done way more harm to him than he can ever think of..!

now shivani track that has not even started has made us worry what if he pardons her?..i would say one thing here that what shivani did was nothing compared to maham..at least she was in love and did not want to cause harm to anyone intentionally!..the rest we will sort out when the track unfolds...

shahenshah...he is azeemo-o-shaan shahenshah..zille=illahi when he is in front of awaam although i still cannot forgive cvz for that fake death scene..ufff makes me mad😡..in DEK he is shahenshah who is a leader, a responsible king, an alert at all times so that he can keep his eyes open for any type of danger...he has a big responsibility of taking matters under control and be the one to make things work under his trustworthy men..now can we blame the shahenshah for being naive or careless for trusting wrong people and appointing people who have not been up to the mark..well he might be the smartest person on earth but people whom we trust the most are the ones that cause us most harm..ghar ka bhedi lanka dhaae..and that is true for every leader and every individual..it does not make one weak or less intelligent it is a learning experience that comes with age..now maham who saved his life many a times just like jodha did once could she be mistrusted? how could she be?..but trust breaks when reality stands face to face..jhoot ka kad kabhi bhi sach se bara nahin hota..ek gunaah ko chipane ke liye koi kitne gunaah karega..jalal did trust the people who were close to him and who did do good as well for him...unfortunately they were just humans who were overtaken by greed of power and money..nothing else!

we can blame jalal but we can also justify his actions because he is a human after all..i have yet to see our jalal becoming the great akbar and then his precious 9 gems..i want ekta to focus on his political life as well along with a happy closure to his love life..i do not want sbs style of fight-love combo till the end😊..please share ur views..all views welcome!

Splendid analysis. You have beautifully encapsulated the journey of Akbar in this serial.

I don' think that a historical character has been presented with so many shades as has Akbar in this serial. That is commendable because usually a famous historical character is shown as a Superhero with a heart of gold who can never do anything wrong.

I praise the serial makers for this.

We need to enjoy Rajat as Akbar because I don't think he will be doing TV after this. He will head straight for the movies and if I were a betting man I would bet big that he is going to make a huge impression there. Rajat as an actor is beyond compare. I salivate at the thought of him in a hard dramatic role in a big budget movie, where the Director is willing to speak to all his stars and where the actress can match his intensity, somewhat.

And that brings me to the pet peeve of this serial. The characterization of Jodha has been seriously lacking in the entire length of the serial. I don't know why, because when the two lead actors complement each other the ratings go through the roof. The highest rated episode is the one after Jodha's recovery from the Vishkanya poison, that episode in the garden, how wonderfully the two interacted.

Maybe they are doing this to stretch the serial, whatever the reason I hope things get better. But I don't hope much for this month because the Indian stage of the IPL has just started.

thanks dongas! its always easy to criticize , make fun, and find faults in every breadth a character takes but it gets difficult when we have to find positives..i do not think maham's character in reality would have been this negative, she must have been a shrewd selfish mother who doesn't hate jalal but also doesn't love to the extent as she loves her own flesh and blood and that is natural!

yes, jodha;s character was great after the vishpaan episode that extended as kajri but was short lived and then another long MU..i too wish rajat to do big in movies so that he doesn't have to look back..i think he will be another aamir khan and another amitabh bachchan..and both r my all time favorites, now rajat is the third one😳

In October when I started watching this serial, I had an image of Akbar in my mind.It was Hrithik and you may remember he was superb in the movie, he got many awards for it. And here in the serial I see this rather short guy, somewhat overweight and I must admit I felt derision.

But Rajat has won me over, his performances are electrifying. You are held spell bound and you forget about everything else. If Rajat can win over a jaded cynic like me, he can easily snap up the casual movie goer.

By the way, Rajat looks much better these days. He looks slimmer and handsome.

As for Maham, I believe she was as negative in real life as show in the serials. I don't know the motivations for this but which mother tries to kill her child. And Maham had 2 tries on her son.

As for as Jodha is concerned, I have no idea what is happening. Paridhi is a decent actress from what we have seen so the problem is in characterization. Maybe they want to take her to the dumps so that her rise is all the more meteoric, I don't know.

i also started watching the show in october, when i first saw rajat and paridhi's pic i was not at all impressed..they both looked average as compared to hrithik and ash..but when i started watching the serial it got on me after a week and then there has been no looking back and u r rt rajat looks more in shape now😳..i think jodha's character will slowly redeem once she comes back to agra..its similar to jalal's in benz track where jodha had halo..paridhi is a good actress but she doesn't do romantic scenes convincingly..i have yet to see that intensity which should naturally come when two people are in love..a glimpse of it was seen post vishpaan track and then in kajri but nothing after that!

You have covered all the points. Jalal just wants his love by his side now. He doesn't care about Ruqu or anything else in the world now. He has been hurt terribly by MA now and he will have to punish her.

Rajat has been superb in potraying this character. I must admit that I hardly saw TV earlier and I found all male actors on TV annoying. But Rajat changed my view. I am sure he will have successful future in films and he will rule the roost there!

thx dear😊..rajat deserves all the success..he is just beyond words at such a young age..ashwini is well groomed actoe and she is in her mid 40s but look at rajat only 22👏
