However, we can now tell you that the character which the makers wanted to replace may not return to the show. Reason: The show is ending by the end of this month in all likelihood.

Says a source associated with the show, "Just when the viewers were getting used to the romance of Abhay Kapoor (Gunjan) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami), the producer of the show decided to bring back Vivian Dsena as a new character. He had played RK " the original male lead " in the show before the leap. Gunjan was left with no choice but to call it quits as his character wasn't getting the prominence he was promised. Also, there is a strong possibility of the show going off air this month and hence, there is no point introducing Gunjan's replacement."
