Why are the CVs repeating MB-RK storyline?

I find this entire week's episode a repeat of MB-RK story. RK was injured during Ganapati Utsav, was taken to hospital, MB keeping watch on him at night, saves his life from a second attack, then she runs to the temple barefeet to pray for her husband (needless to say their marriage was a hate marriage too). She came back and said prayers that brought him back to life. It was a bit unrealistic, but still loved watching Drashti and Vivian in MB because found the story different then.

Here I have the exact opposite feeling. They are following the same storyline here. Although I love Sanaya, the same storyline did not generate sympathy or anger or any feeling for that matter. In fact, I fastforwarded most of this week's episodes because they seemed so repetitive. It just seemed copy and paste act by the director/CVs who happen to be the same for both shows.

I wish the CVs do something different with RR rather than copy from MB and IPPKND. They have a bunch of talented actors and they should make use of their talents.

Also it is weird how Rudra's dad has disappeared from the story altogether. Rudra and Parvati going to jaipur leaving their invalid parent behind, now they are doing Puja not even mentioning him. This director did same thing in MB. Important characters vanished for months and sometimes disappeared.

I just hope some good sense prevails on the CVs. If they want to copy and paste, do it from some foreign show or old movies; not from your own show that is running on the same channel.

Considering i have never watched MB this was a very fresh thing for me and I loved it.. I mean this hero being near death n heroin praying stuff r common enough, but i loved the execution and that made it fresh for me..

And again I wonder where they have copied IPK! I have watched the show million odd times n even till date watch it repeatedly, actually more times than I watch RR episodes. And I am yet to find any similarity b/w them!

And now coming to hate marriage - RR does not have a hate marriage.. angry one person and the other being head over heels in love and telling it again and again to the hero makes this a very unique situation for me..
And heroin falling in love first and admitting to it is not at all similar to IPK - now i dunno abt MB to comment on it..

Anyway Drashti must have been wonderful in the scene too. I like her.. but have not watched it.. But for me Parud was wonderful last night.. Paro's despair and the slow breakdown as dawn arrived made me cry..

And finally - plots are pretty much rinse and repeat types on TV now a days. Neither is MB the first show to do it nor will RR be the last one to do it.

This JTHJ - promise to god to leave the loved one as a price for the life of that loved one, when executed well is heartbreaking..

So anyway I guess if u had been a MB fan u must be feeling territorial.. I would too if they rinse n repeated an IPK scene fully.
But for the fresh viewers who had not watched the previous show its interesting..

I agree with you ...
I don't know way some people comparing with other shows? Situations are really different , in JTHJ she left him immediately after the accident, here paro dint wish to leave him by herself, it advised by the pandit to leave most loved thing, here for paro Rudr was most loved one in her life, she promise to leave him, and before eating that laddoo, Rudr also wished to get rid of her from his life. There is know way paro will leave Rudr for any reason, this was the only way left to fulfil both wishes right? As Rudr wish paro is going away from his life, and for paro Rudr will be out of danger. Any one dare to compare this scene to JTHJ?

Sorry TM

I think the people/PH who have the copyrights to the shows that you mention have the right to ask/address the question that you do, directly to the PH/people who they believe might have copied anything at all.

And this would also apply even to PH/people who might believe the shows that you mention might have copied from the ones aired before them.

Hence I would consider your questioning as invalid!

Nevertheless, Thank you for gracing the RR viewers forum!
