Hi guys! I'm new to this forum, just started watching BI a couple of weeks back n I'm already in love with it. :)
I was actually really excited about the date, a couple of days back. I'd thought that Zain would genuinely try to please Aaliya, even though he was only doing all that on Barkat's insistence. I found Zain's OTTness really funny in the episode before yesterday's one, but after watching yesterday's episode, it actually turned out to be really sour. I knew Zain would probably be OTT n all that, when the spoiler came out, but I'd thought there would be scenes where Zain actually looked happy n there were, but not as much as I expected. If this was a month or so back, I probably would have expected the exact same as what the showed in yesterday's episode but at this point, Zain has come to an acceptance that Aaliya is his wife n although he doesn't admit it, he does like her, maybe not love yet, but he definitely does like her n showing Zain behaving the way he did, at this point, is quite disappointing. I felt really sorry for Aaliya, she genuinely looked really happy, she's probably gonna be really hurt when she finds out that Zain didn't really do any of it for her. In the episode, Zain says that he'll tell her himself that he was only doing it for Barkat, n if I'm not wrong, Zain's probably gonna try doing an exact reverse of all the compliments n tareef, which I'm so not looking forward to. I really hope Aaliya's gonna give it back to him, the hard way, like just ignore him, like he doesn't exist. I hope Zain will try make it up to her, that'll be something worth watching for.
But as for now, I'm just really disappointed with how the whole date sequence was crafted n the only reason was Zain. It could have been perfect, minus Zain's mind dialogues n the 'just wait till tomorrow, I'll show you' looks. I know it's a part of his personality, to behave like that, but I don't like the fact that he's playing with someone's feelings.
Anyone agree with me?
