Thanks Ganga (if I may call you so)...I do agree it looks as if its too soon. But in RR things are treated so differently. No MU stays longer than a week or so. Which is itself a big surprise. Everytime an MU is cleared it changes their equation...making their relationship way stronger than a couple who may be together for a longer time but just don't talk.
Ganga also something extremely important to this show is this couple interacts, is very very vocal about their feelings for each other. May it be their care, love, or what they don't like about each other. See Paro says, "Muje aap par bahut gussa aata hai" Now have we ever got to hear a lead say this in a fight?
We have gotten so used to shows having leads not talk, not communicate, get the worse out of the each other etc...this goes on for months. Here in RR the treatment of the story itself is different.
Two things...that again struck me...
1) When Paro told Rudra "Aaapko bohot mehnat karni padegi Major Sahab...Aapko mhar dil mein utarna padega...lekin joote utaar kar... (joote -something that we use to tread on, stamp out things...here it meant he would have to undo his emotional baggage, his issues and come to her)
2) Geetanjali pushing him to straighten things out between him and Paro. That is anothe reason Rudra wants Paro to forgive him.
Rudra is now wooing her. He does not know the right way...but is making an effort.. Paro is the one who is stubborn as always...and in her own way is making him do things that he has never done before.
See her dialogue as the end, "I ask for something very small compared to the maafi...after all I am your wife." She asked for bangles...for she had hated the ones he put on her the first time and he had walked all over them. She wants him to return that chooda back to her.
And like in the Shiv-Parvati story this is where Parvati brings him into the wordly affairs...getting him domesticated.
Also Rudra ko pyaar mein poora utarna padega! To a point of doing anything for her. Actually come to think of it he would lay his life down for her, but its the silly stuff that does not sit well with many viwers. But why not...if he is ready to lay his life fo rher then why not an apology? And that is exactly what is happening now...small, mundane little things that Paro wants from her husband...

Mind you DD, I did enjoy that episode. it was too sweet not to enjoy but what I meant by it feeling as if they were married for a while is that the ease of interaction they showed.. i mean how easily Paro expected him to say sorry to her when just the day before she didn't think he would even take her with him?
The makers are setting a good pace for the serial which is what you require to not get bored... but that is in the sense of the story line or a topic being cleared in the show. They should not stick that pace to a relationship development. To some extent Rudra's reaction did stick...his not knowing how to apologize is understandable ...only that his wanting to apologize without a good enough fight or his thadap in front of Paro for her to speak did not stick.
saying that this is a all in the show... it was still entertaining. and most of the time I am firmly sitting in the viewers' chair. I don't like to share any part of CVs work but have a tendency to be a bit on judgmental side... 😆
You are welcome to call me Ganga..
